  • POSTCAST: Bats EXPLODE And Nolan McLean DOMINATES As New York Mets Take Series Opener

    23/08/2025 Duración: 17min

Behind a huge night offensively and a dominating start from Nolan McLean, the Mets took the opener of the series from the Atlanta Braves, 12-7.Despite a final line with 2 ER, this may have been a better start than his debut for Nolan McLean. He become the first Met pitcher not named David Peterson to throw at least six innings since June 7th. Offensively, everyone got involved for New York. Brett Baty had a career day with four hits. Francisco Lindor was on base four times and stole a couple of bases. Juan Soto hit his 32nd home run of the season. Every single starter on the Mets had a hit, and the bottom part of the lineup combined for 8 of the Mets hits. It was not all sunshine and rainbows, however, as Reed Garrett and Ryan Helsley had nights to forget and made this one a lot closer than it should have been. Clay Holmes goes for the Mets tomorrow, hoping to build off of a positive night all around for the team. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!5-Hour ENERGYTee up that trip! • POSTCAST: Senga STRUGGLES, Bats Comeback Falls SHORT

    21/08/2025 Duración: 19min

Kodai Senga struggled tonight against the Washington Nationals, as the Mets fell in DC by a final of 5-4. The first two innings saw Senga on cruise control, utilizing his full arsenal and snagging a couple of strike-outs. However, that was where it ended, as Senga started to lose command and left a lot of his offspeed offerings up and in the middle of the zone. Washington was able to jump out to a 4-0 lead before Brett Baty hit another TOWERING home run to get the Mets on the board. And then it was the 6th inning when the Mets mounted a comeback. A pair of opposite field doubles from Pete Alonso and Jeff McNeil pulled the Mets back within one run. They were able to load the bases in the inning but couldn't get the tying run across. They did get the tying run on base in the 9th inning, but an inning ending double play dashed any chance the Mets would get their first win after trailing through 8 innings. Sean Manaea takes the mound for the Mets tomorrow in the series finale as they will look to win the rubber m

The New York Mets defeated the Seattle Mariners in the Little League Classic by a final of 7-3. In doing so, the Mets not only picked up a series win but won back to back games for the first time since July 27th. Offensively, it was the baby Mets who led the charge. Francisco Alvarez got things started with an RBI double. Brett Baty and Mark Vientos tacked on a pair and the Mets were off to the races with a 3-0 lead. It was Vientos who handed down the big blow, with his three-run opposite field homer in 5th that pushed the Mets lead to 5. Clay Holmes toed the rubber for the Mets and delivered probably the best that could have been expected from Holmes this time of year. 16/08/2025 Duración: 21min

On a night where the New York Mets offense showed plenty of fight, it was the bullpen and another blown lead that did the Mets in against the Seattle Mariners, 11-9. The Mets faced multiple deficits that they quickly erased in this, trailing 1-0, 2-1 and 4-3 early.
