  • POSTCAST: Mets WASTE Huge Day From Juan Soto, Suffer BAD Loss To The Marlins

    30/08/2025 Duración: 18min

The New York Mets wasted a huge day from Juan Soto and a comeback effort from six runs down, as they fell to the Miami Marlins 11-8. There are certain games throughout the course of the season that a team just HAVE to win, and today's game certainly fell into that category. Coming into the game, the Mets were trying to build momentum after their huge night on Friday. David Peterson struggled on the mound, allowing five runs in the first and eight innings overall across two innings of work. The Mets faced an 8-2 deficit but behind huge home runs from Soto and Mark Vientos, they found their way back even at 8. It was short lived though, as Tyler Rogers allowed the Marlins to scratch the go-ahead run across. Now the Mets look to stop things before they get worse, with Kodai Senga on the mound tomorrow to try and salvage a series split. Listener SurveyWe’ve put together a survey to learn more about our listeners and make your favorite podcasts even better. Go tohttps://lockedonpodcasts.com/survey/ to get started.
