POSTCAST: Mets Starting Pitching MELTDOWNS Again, Blow SIX Run Lead
14/08/2025 Duración: 20minThe New York Mets had a complete meltdown in 4th inning, blowing a six run lead and ultimately falling to the Atlanta Braves 11-6. Once again, the starting pitching takes center stage for the Mets. David Peterson got the start and could only get 10 outs before being removed from the game. Reed Garrett was the first man out of the bullpen and he gave up the go ahead grand-slam and the Braves never looked back. Offensively, the Mets continued a lot of what we saw last night by jumping out to a 6-0 lead but after giving up the lead weren't able to muster up much of a comeback. It's back to wondering if the pitching can be enough for this team, when Kodai Senga takes the mound tomorrow night in the series finale. Alonso is the lead story, with his home run in the 3rd, passing Darryl Strawberry to become the Mets all-time home run leader with 253 career home runs as a New York Met. It would stay that way for long, as Alonso added another to get to 254. Francisco Alvarez also powered two home runs out, along with an RBI double. The Mets backstop continues to swing a hot bat since returning from a stint in the minors. As for the pitching, it was a so-so night for Clay Holmes, who hit trouble in the 4th. POSTCAST: Mets Offense Remains BROKEN In Loss To MIL
09/08/2025 Duración: 22minThe New York Mets returned to Milwaukee for the first time since the NL Wild Card last year, but they fell in the opener by a final of 3-2. You know the drill by now. The Mets offense struggled. Their starter, Kodai Senga, was unable to get through six innings of work and a defensive miscue proved to be the difference. Lately it has been the same story for the Mets and this evening was no different. A pair of solo home runs from Juan Soto and Starling Marte got the team out in front and Senga was cruising through his first four innings of work. It was the 5th inning where everything fell apart, all started with a fielding error by Senga and then a two-run home run from Brice Turang to tie things up. The Mets were unable to get anything going after that and now have lost 9 of their last 10. POSTCAST: Starting Rotation FAILS Mets AGAIN; Bats Back To Their Old Ways
03/08/2025 Duración: 18minThe New York Mets have a pair of problems going for them right now, and both were on display in Sunday afternoon's series finale loss to the San Francisco Giants. Problem one for the Mets is their offense. It's been too streaky, and while yesterday's twelve run outburst gave many hope that they've kick-started things, it was back to their old ways today. The other problem is their starting pitching. We know length of their starts (everyone not named David Peterson) has been an issue, but the last couple of starts have seen these starters have major blow up innings. Today it was Frankie Montas' turn. A quick turnaround is needed for the Mets, as they start a three game series with the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow night at Citi Field.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!5-Hour ENERGYTime to fuel up and turn it up with 5-hour ENERGY®️ Transfusion!
