The fourth sermon in "His Name is God" series this message centers on viewing God as our King. He is our friend, He is our Father, He is our Creator but He is also our King and we are part of His kingdom. What does that mean to us? What does God do in our lives from His Kingly nature? This message centers on these two issues and will challenge you to truly see Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Following in the vein of preaching for the past several weeks this message centers on God as our creator. Two weeks ago it was centered on His being our friend and last week was on Him being our Father. This week's deals with God's creative work in us and how we respond to it. Living in the reality of being a creative being of a creative God brings great confidence and assurance to the life of a believer. You will be blessed as you, His creation, here the truths of His creative work in our lives.

Following in the vein of the previous week' message that centered on the friendship of God this message centers on the fatherhood of God. Fatherlessness is an epidemic in our nation and has devastating ramifications. This message reveals the Father's heart for His children and exhorts us to walking in the confidence and blessing of knowing the God is our perfect Father.

Friendship with God is sometimes something that makes people feel uneasy. They feel that to mention God as a friend diminishes His greatness, splendor, or sovereignty but it in fact does not. God called Abraham His friend, He spoke to Moses face to face as a friend and Jesus called His disciples His friends. This message will remind you and encourage you to see God as your friend as well as your Savior, Redeemer and King.

During our second morning service Gwen shared a powerful message of how God changes a person's life. The lessons learned through King Saul's life are principles for every believer. Even though King Saul was a changed man though scripture shows us hiding among the "stuff". Through this message Gwen provokes believers to take a look at the "stuff" in our lives that may be hiding the new man that God is creating. No doubt you will be challenged to come out of hiding.

Special guest Gwen Mouliert shared with the body a very insightful message on the different ways that God speaks to His people. This message will give you practical, spiritual, and tangible ways to hear the voice of God in your life. God desires to speak to His people. Through this message you will certainly be encouraged to expect to hear the voice of God in your life.

The second message in a series entitled ME 3 focuses upon ensuring that God's divine order is in place for our marriages. Our marriages should follow the order of God First, My Spouse Second and Me Third. This is a blueprint to successful marriage. This message highlights ways the husbands and wives can ensure that they are putting God and their spouse in their rightful place.

This sermon is the first in a series of messages entitled ME - 3 that focuses upon the principle of God First, Others Second and Me Third. During this message you will be challenged to take a look at what "complete" worship is. True worship of God has a vertical component of spiritual disciplines that enhance our relationship with him. Yet, the scriptures also show a horizontal component to worship that manifests itself in the lives of others around us. Complete worship truly embraces the God First, Others Second and Me Third mentality.

Prompted by the spirit of God during the Sunday morning worship service this message challenged people to cross over by faith into the next phase of their lives. Many times when facing an obstacle the temptation is to return to where we came from, devise our own plan of escape, or just give up. The principles contained in this message will encourage you to follow the path God has set for you but more importantly, trust Him when you come a seemingly impossible situation.

Using Judges 19 as a backdrop this message was designed to challenge the body of PVAG to not be silent towards the on-going evil epidemic of human trafficking in the world today. The G90 Project is an initiative of PVAG to build a ministry center for young girls in danger of being forced into prostitution. Judges 19 is the tragic story of a Levite's concubine being abused to the point of death. However, the question was: "What would Israel do in the face of such wickedness?" Would they move to action or would they remain silent? Their silence would have been shameful. Our silence in the face of sexual slavery is equally shameful.

The old saying in sports is: "Defense Wins Championships". A great defense is crucial to victory. Where does our victory begin in our walk against the enemy of our soul? It begins with His defense of us. He, Jesus Christ, our advocate is our defense. Using Zechariah 3 as a backdrop this message will remind you that you indeed have an advocate that is greater than your adversary

The people of God left Egypt and were supernaturally provided for by God. He met their physical needs and provided them safety from any enemy attack. They were an unstoppable force because God was on their side. The king of Moab knew this so he did the only thing that would bring defeat to Israel -- seduce them. the minute Israel slept with the seductress' of Moab death entered the camp. You and I are confronted with the seductress as well. this sermon will encourage you to silence the seductress in your life.

The Israelites encountered the Amalekites after God brought them water from a rock through supernatural intervention. The attack of the enemy came right after a time of refreshing with God. Joshua fought evil in the valley while Moses went to the throne of God upon the hill above. All through the battle they knew one thing -- God is the source of our victory! Likewise we face the enemy today but do we focus on God as the source of our victory? Through this message you will be encouraged that the battle with evil belongs to God but so does the victory.

Using the story of Jacob's swindling his brother's birthright and deceiving his father to get the his blessing this message will encourage you to face the Esau's of your life. How do you go back when you have wronged other? How do you return to the father when Esau is standing in the way? This message will give you principles for you to overcome the Esau in your life but in the process help you forgive the jacob's of your life.

The people of God marched around the stronghold of Jericho 13 times before the walls came tumbling down. God had given them a divine strategy to bring those walls down. Using those principles we as believers can bring down strongholds that present themselves in our lives. It may not happen on the first time around but this message will encourage you to keep circling the stronghold. The 13th lap is on the way.

Elisha found himself surrounded by the enemy who sought to destroy him yet felt no fear. His faith? "Greater are those that are with us than those who are with them." He knew the source of his strength and where is defense came from. He knew he was in a spiritual battle not a carnal battle. Using this text as a framework this message will highlight some spiritual battle strategies for men and women of God today. This message will remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood.

Jesus asked his closest followers, Who do people say I am . . . he then followed up by asking, Who do you say I am? Today's message confronts the topic of who we are from the public perspective as well as who we are from those who know us best.

At times in life we find ourselves in the proverbial place of being between a rock and a hard place. That's where Moses found himself when leading the people of God to possess the promises of God. No water, impatience, frustration and discontent put Moses in a place between them and God. He needed a miracle. What do you do when you find yourself in a place like this? Moses ran to God and was given divine direction for the situation. This message gives insight into what to do when you find yourself between a rock and a hard place.

Fittingly we sing songs like God Bless America and God Bless the USA as we celebrate the Fourth of July. Truly America has been blessed by God but what about the future? What is it that would secure His blessing in the future? Proverbs 14:34 reads: "Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a disgrace to any people." Through this message you will be challenged to pray for America to walk in righteousness but equally important you will be challenged to do so in your own personal life.

In every aspect of our life, we react to our surrounding and circumstances around us. Today's message talks about our response in the aspect of [1] The environment we DIDN'T create, [2] the environment we CAN create and [3] the environment we can TAKE with us. Enjoy this message about being effective in all surroundings.
