The people of God left Egypt and were supernaturally provided for by God. He met their physical needs and provided them safety from any enemy attack. They were an unstoppable force because God was on their side. The king of Moab knew this so he did the only thing that would bring defeat to Israel -- seduce them. the minute Israel slept with the seductress' of Moab death entered the camp.
