Sinopsis
The New York Mets had a complete meltdown in 4th inning, blowing a six run lead and ultimately falling to the Atlanta Braves 11-6. Once again, the starting pitching takes center stage for the Mets. David Peterson got the start and could only get 10 outs before being removed from the game. Reed Garrett was the first man out of the bullpen and he gave up the go ahead grand-slam and the Braves never looked back. Offensively, the Mets continued a lot of what we saw last night by jumping out to a 6-0 lead but after giving up the lead weren't able to muster up much of a comeback. It's back to wondering if the pitching can be enough for this team, when Kodai Senga takes the mound tomorrow night in the series finale.
