Locked On Mets

The New York Mets missed a chance early in the game to break things open against the Cleveland Guardians, and fell in the second game of the series 3-2. In the 2nd inning, the Mets had a golden chance. The bases were loaded, with only one out. Francisco Lindor stepped to the plate with the Mets already leading 2-0. It was the chance to break the game open, and get the Mets back into the win column. Instead, it was a double play by the Guardians and that was all we would hear from the Mets bats. Clay Holmes pitched well, and gave the Mets the quality they've been searching for.
