A seventeen year-old man who was out on bond, after being jailed for murder, is back in the news again. This time it is for invading the home of a young mother, shooting her in the face and severely beating her 1 year old son. Aside from motive, a number of questions beg for answers. Among the questions are why was he out on bond, why does his mother continue to support him and does he deserve a second chance. Finally, what scriptures apply to this most disturbing criminal act?

The NFL has allowed Michael Vick back in the NFL after serving prison time for his involvement in dog fighting.
