An Ohio teenager who was raised as a Muslim and converted to Christianity ran away from home to the home of a Christian Pastor some 1000 miles away in Orlando, Florida. She said her father, who is Muslim, had threatened to kill her. Her father has denied the accusation and the courts are leaning to sending her back home to her parents. This situation brings to light many questions regarding an individual’s journey in seeking the Kingdom of God.

Recently, one of the more prominent Historically Black Colleges introduced a dress code although most colleges don’t have one. The majority of the elements of the dress code dealt with promoting an image indicative of high standards. However, one part of the code has been called discriminatory. Apparently, some gay students are against the policy that prohibits men from wearing women’s clothes and carrying purses. For many people, whether the policy discriminates or not, is irrelevant.
