Do Steelers fans want the Steelers to win on Sunday? Poni says he does not want the Steelers to win against the Ravens to get false hope. He says he does not want the charade to continue and is now rooting for 8-9. Mullsy agrees and they both have had people reach out to them to say they want the Steelers to lose.

Ray said the final 5 games matter a lot in the future of Mike Tomlin, but it would take them losing almost all of them for Ray to put the percentage at like 30% of Tomlin being let go. What has better chances – Aaron Rodgers back at QB or Marcus Freeman as the new head coach? Ray isn’t sure how much we see of Adam Thielen on Sunday, but doesn’t think it would take all that much juggling. Ray said Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek would see less playing time if Thielen cracks the lineup. Ray is one of the many that are curious as to why Jonnu Smith still gets more snaps than Pat Freiermuth. Steve isn’t sure if Steelers fans should be ‘excited’ about Adam Thielen, but he can do some things the Steelers haven’t gotten all season in terms of simplicity. He thinks Thielen can do things underneath on pass plays that would probably help them. Steve said DK Metcalf has never been a great all-around receiver, so he always needs a complementary piece with him. Steve doesn’t understand why Pat Freiermuth has been neglected in this offense. He has just one 100-yard game this season and usually doesn’t exceed 50 in a game. Are the Steelers having buyer’s remorse on the Metcalf deal? KDKA TV’s Bob Pompeani joined the show. Bob was emceeing the Riverhounds championship celebration today, the lone team to bring a title to the city in this decade. Bob reminded us that he wanted the Steelers to keep George Pickens around, which isn’t helping the fact that DK Metcalf is having a career-worst season. Aditi talked about the chemistry Aaron Rodgers had with Davante Adams in all of their success in Green Bay. Aditi, like Mike Florio, said something feels a little bit different with the Steelers and Mike Tomlin this year in terms of a breakup. Aditi doesn’t see Tomlin jumping from the NFL to the college level. Aditi thinks the Ravens automatically have the advantage on Sunday because of Lamar Jackson, who she said is still one of the league’s best players. Jeff Brohm is the latest college football coach to stay put instead of going to Happy Valley to become the HC at Penn State. Something else Ben Roethlisberger suggested was Mike Tomlin going to Penn State. After Tomlin was asked about coaching at the college level a few years ago, we can say pretty confidently that this won’t happen.
