The guys noted that some of the huge names of today didn’t make the All Star team in their rookie seasons – even though Paul Skenes did. We shared the news that we will be in Indy for Griffin’s Triple A debut Friday night. ALL ACCESS w/ Aditi – Aditi shared that she used to cover men’s and women’s college basketball back in the heyday of the Big East, and said she would love to still cover it. Aditi said Mike Tomlin wouldn’t be hiring agents like he’s bound for a TV job if he wasn’t actually planning on doing it. Which network will get Tomlin’s services? Aditi imagines Tomlin will have his pick of the litter and go with whatever is most convenient for him. 25/03/2026 Duración: 41minPirates baseball is back tomorrow. Opening Day takes place against the Mets, starting at 1:15 – a game that can be heard on The Fan. Are the Pirates going to make the playoffs? We are risking our bodies again for this – Poni and Donny said they would get a Pirates tattoo no matter what happens this season. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said he’s been checked out on the Pirates since the NLCS loss in 1992. He added that 1979 was easily the apex of being a Pirates’ fan. Mike went after Dan Orlovsky, jokingly, about the all-of-the-sudden love for Ty Simpson and the belief that Simpson is now the best QB in this year’s draft. If there is something to this, Mike said it’s genius work done by Orlovsky to help out Simpson, who conveniently share an agent. Mike believes Mike Tomlin will absolutely end up on TV and thinks he could be the next John Madden if he wants it. 25/03/2026 Duración: 38minIs it a failure of a season if the Penguins proceed to miss the playoffs after all of this? Another lopsided loss at home last night has them clinging to the final playoff spot in the Metro with the wild card race starting to look very messy. Missing the playoffs would be the fourth straight year of no postseason. There are individual success stories like Ben Kindel and the turnaround of Erik Karlsson, along with what we saw from Dan Muse in his first season on the bench. But finishing in the middle does nothing for this team and organization. Poni was surprised that Joe was outnumbered during the midday show thinking that this season would be a downer if they miss the playoffs. It doesn’t sound like Dan Muse is wavering on his confidence as the Penguins’ season enters the final stretch. On the midday show, Pomp gave the Penguins a 50/50 shot to make it.
