One of the traditions the Steelers follow in their draft prep for a long time was attending the pro day of the player they would eventually select in the 1st round. Last season, they bucked that trend when they didn’t send Mike Tomlin or Omar Khan to the Derrick Harmon workout. Penn State held its pro day today and the Steelers lacked a presence. Poni is surprised they didn’t want to check out Vega Ioane, the stud OL, that could very well be on the Steelers’ board heading into next month.
