Are you using big data as an excuse to not talk to your end users? Big data and analytics tools have made it possible for IT to resolve and prevent issues without involving the affected party, but that doesn’t mean there’s no longer a need for dialogue between end users and IT.   But unlike collecting system metrics, gathering meaningful qualitative feedback can be difficult: How can you get people to respond in a constructive way?
