Aaron Rodgers said that he was happy to beat everyone associated with the Jets. PFF had Dak Prescott and Matthew Stafford as their two highest graded QBs in week one. They also graded Aaron Rodgers as one of the worst QBs in week one. Rodgers had the same PFF grade as Broderick Jones, who allowed three sacks.

Donny Football’s game balls. Game ball number 3 goes to Chris Boswell after his 6o yarder to win the game. Mullsy says that Boswell should decide whether they kick or not on 4th downs. Game ball number 2 goes to Justin Fields for a great performance against his former squad. Game ball number 1 goes to Aaron Rodgers for his 4 touchdown day against his former team.

Cam Heyward finally got his revised contract, and Steeler fans think that Chris Boswell is more deserving. None of the incentives in Cam Heyward’s revised contract have anything to do with his own performance. Cam Heyward is the 5th best compensated athlete in Pittsburgh Sports history. Mullsy says that Steeler fans were enjoying Heyward’s sub-par play yesterday.

Aaron Rodgers hit some historic marks yesterday with his big day.

Steelers 34, Jets 32. The Steelers got their best quarterback play since 2018 as Aaron Rodgers threw for 4 TD passes without an interception. There were some warts, but it’s hard to be upset about the Steelers putting up 30+ points in a win – something we haven’t seen much of in the last 5 years or since Ben Roethlisberger was the QB.

We hear from Cam Heyward in full from today's practice after not speaking with reporters for a while. The guys react to the comments from the Steelers defensive lineman. He ultimately states that he is seeking more money to set his family up for future generations.

The guys play "Fair Game with Farabaugh". Nick says it is fair to say that Cam does play this Sunday. He did not commit to playing but he also did not commit to NOT playing. He says it is not fair that the Steelers give Heyward some type of raise.

We are 48 hours away from the Steelers taking on the Jets in the season opener. Aaron Rodgers against his old team. Justin Fields against the team that gave up on him in favor of Russell Wilson. Cam Heyward seems to be putting on his 'business' attire and will seemingly play this Sunday. What is the latest in the Cam Heyward contract saga? Connor Heyward has gotten some flack since Cam asked for more money. We are waiting to see if Cam talks after practice today.

Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray said the Cam Heyward portion of the injury report did not include any funny business. Ray said nobody in the building believe Heyward will holdout of the game Sunday and he will be on the field. Ray took us back to other situations when the Steelers have played hardball with players that wanted more. Ray said there was no doubt Heyward out-performed his contract last season, but the player made the mistake not signing a prove-it deal. How will they use all of the tight ends in this offense? The guys asked Ray how the team will look since they got very little work in the preseason. Ray said it’s unfair to put the whole season on a 41-year-old QB like Aaron Rodgers. Ray predicted a 13-9 Steelers win and Payton Wilson has a big game.

PM Team Week 1 Picks

Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve thinks the Steelers defense has a chance to be really good, led by the front seven and Jalen Ramsey still playing at a high level. Steve said keeping Aaron Rodgers upright will be the story to their NFL success. Steve looked at some years where Rodgers didn’t fully trust the offensive brain trust, but described how good he is when he does. Steve said both tackles and WR2 are his big question marks with the Steelers. Steve said the Jets can be ‘feisty’ and have the ability to slow the game down. Where does Steve come down on the 1v1 matchup of DK Metcalf and Sauce Gardner. Steve predicted the Steelers to go 10-7 with a loss in the Wild Card round. Steve’s Super Bowl pick is Bills over Lions.
