All of the polls show that most people don’t want to go if they already live in Pittsburgh. Are locals turned off by big events in the city? Or is the NFL Draft just too much? Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. The guys had to get Mike’s reaction to NBC making it official with Mike Tomlin, as he’s set to join the SNF coverage. Mike has long been annoyed by Aaron Rodgers, but it’s more embarrassing on the Steelers as he continues to dictate terms. Mike doesn’t really understand why Rodgers even wants to come back. How much better will the team be under Mike McCarthy than they were under Tomlin? Mike’s sources have told him that Rodgers doesn’t like that there is all this talk about him, allegedly. Mike doesn’t rule out Rodgers coming back midseason if a team needs a QB. Mike also pointed out that the Phil Rivers situation was very rare.

The Rangers topped the Pirates last night, but the biggest story didn’t come from the game. Instead, it was from the comments made by Andrew McCutchen following it. Cutch is still clearly salty following his Pirates departure. Art Rooney said Aaron Rodgers will make his decision ‘soon.’ It’s the same old song & dance. Last year we waited until early June and we are headed for that again. And it sounds like the owner doesn’t really care. He wanted an answer by free agency, then by the owner’s meetings, then by the draft – and we still don’t have one.
