Matt, a Butler native, told the guys he remembers some old clippings from the PG way back when he was a high school baseball player and even when he got into the professional level. The guys asked Matt about the Pirates off-season and he gave them a B grade so far, but hopes there is more before we reach the season. Matt suggested a couple trades they could make to fill the 3B void if they can’t land a free agent like Eugenio

93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff reacted to the news of the Post-Gazette closing its doors in early May and what it means for the business. How would things be different if Tyler Loop makes the field goal Sunday night – is Mike Tomlin still here and how do the Steelers handle his future? Jeff said DK Metcalf feels embarrassed by what happened in Detroit and couldn’t stop apologizing about putting himself over the team. Will the Texans take Metcalf out of the game? Jeff feels like Aaron Rodgers has more football in front of him. Jeff thinks, short of a Super Bowl run, Teryl Austin is likely done as Steelers DC after the season with his contract being up. Jeff picked the Steelers to beat the Texans Monday night.

ALL ACCESS w/ Aditi – Aditi says that she was shocked by John Harbaugh’s firing. She says that Harbaugh will get to pick his job, and he might even get to pick his general manager. Aditi says that there have been conversations between Mike Tomlin and high-level TV executives. She also thinks that the competition of football fuels Mike Tomlin, and he won’t want to leave the Steelers.

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike is also not sure how it is determined when each playoff game is scheduled for or what network each game is on. Mike thinks that John Harbaugh may have still gotten fired later even if Tyler Loop had made the game-winning field goal. He also says that it is possible that Lamar Jackson would want out of Baltimore for next year. Mike thinks that Harbaugh will end up with the Giants. He also says that Mike Tomlin has a job in TV in his back pocket, and it is up to him if he wants to take it after the season.
