The Commanders finally extended Terry Mclaurin, which takes away another receiver option for the Steelers. Poni says that he’s heard people express concern over Jonnu Smith’s health and potential availability. Mullsy thinks the Steelers only need one featured wide receiver. Poni says that the Steelers should trade for Romeo Doubs. Poni thinks that Doubs is better than Wilson and Austin.

Pirates legend Al Oliver joins the show! He is being inducted into the Pirates Hall of Fame. What does the honor mean to him? He says it means a lot to him. He says he wasn't shocked and people were wondering what took so long. He is very happy to be back in Pittsburgh and celebrate the occasion. He says his family doesn't talk about the Hall of Fame because they have no control over it. He did love to see Dave Parker go in. He would approach Paul Skenes the same way as he approached Hall of Famers.

Mark Kaboly joins the show. Mark says that Yahya Black looks like the real deal. He says that his run stopping ability reminds him of Cam Heyward. Mark says that Poni's Vita Vea comparison is premature. Mark says that the Steelers still need Keeanu Benton out there. Could Callas take down Bechtold in an Oklahoma drill? Mark does not think that Skylar Thompson is better than Mason Rudolph. Derrick Harmon is expected to be out about a month. Mark thinks that Skylar Thompson will get cut. Mike Tomlin was not happy with the starters on defense yesterday. Mullsy says that he's very intrigued with Broderick Jones' performance yesterday, and says that Broderick was very active and did not get beat much. Mark says that he thinks that Cam Johnston has always had the punter battle won.

Skylar Thompson balled out in the Steelers final preseason game. Many people believe that Rudolph vs. Thompson should be a real battle. 60% of Twitter voters believe Thompson is better than Rudolph. Poni thinks it’s the best defense in the AFC. How did we rank the Steelers defensive starters? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray is curious how much we will see of the starting defense tonight. Ray said the only way DeMarvin Leal is kept is if the Steelers roll with 5 edge rushers, which they haven’t done in recent memory. Is there any reason to be concerned with Jack Sawyer so far? Ray said the Steelers will have an interesting decision to make with Nick Herbig after this season. Ray indicated that Skylar Thompson could find himself a roster spot because Will Howard did not play at all in the preseason. How is Ray feeling about the run game to this point in the preseason?
