God is the God of the Moment. He loves to take His people from moment to moment to moment in their lives. Look at the history of Israel in the Old Testament. He took them from one moment to another if His people would walk in faith and obedience. One of those moments was the opportunity for the group of ex-slaves to enter the Promised Land. However, due to fear, disbelief and discouragement they did not seize the moment. Likewise today, God still takes His people from moment to moment. The third in a series of messages around PVAG's Capital Campaign theme of Generation to Generation this message will inspire you as individuals as well as His corporate body to seize the moment that is upon us.

Scripture gives many examples of leaders who received a mandate from God, but that mandate also becomes the mandate of a people or generation. The second of a series of messages in the theme Generation to Generation, this message calls the church to receive the mandate from God to raise up a generation. We are called to not just raise up a generation of believers but a generation of believers who understand their calling as kings and priests of God. Through this message you will be challenged to look at your own life in respect to being a royal generation and challenged to raise up that royal generation.

This is the first of four messages in a series of messages centered on the theme Generation to Generation for our upcoming Capital Campaign. Using the genealogy of Matthew 1 the purpose of every generation is revealed - to bring the promise of Jesus into reality. God used those generations to bring his promise to life. We have the same purpose in our generation today. This message focuses on the faith of generations such as Abraham, Isaac and David. You will be challenged to have the faith of their generations in this one but to also raise up a generation of faith.

Noah entered the ark as God began to send the flood upon the earth to bring judgment against the sin of humanity. Yet this righteous and blameless man found favor in the eyes of God so he was chosen to build a vessel of salvation for he, his family and future humanity. How would he know when it was time to leave the ark? He would follow the dove. The Spirit of God descended upon Jesus in the form of a dove and was the leading force of His life. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until that same Holy Spirit came upon them. Today believers like Jesus and the early church MUST be led by the Holy Spirit that will like Noah, be a blessing to our families and all of those around us.

Following an incredible move of God's Spirit where numbers of people were ministered to during praise and worship guest speaker Andre van Zyl spoke a short but powerful message on honor giving. Scripture provides many examples of individuals who honored ministers of God through the act of giving and unknowingly planted a seed of blessing in the future. You will be challenged through this message to practice the art of honor giving that will impact you in the future.

Acts 3 tells the account of the healing of the crippled man at the gate of the temple. Using this as the backdrop for this powerful message our guest, Andre van Zyl, challenges the church to take care of what is sitting at the gates of the temple. Peter and John walked into the temple in a new found authority that caused them to heal the man to life, causing wonder and amazement to come to the temple. This message will cause you to hunger for a cleansing of the gates of your life so that wonder and amazement fills the temple.

David went to face the giant with 5 stones he picked out of the creek that he concealed in his simple shepherd's bag. One of those stones would be the very weapon God would use to bring down the giant who taunted the armies of Israel. This message calls you to see yourself, and your church, as stones in the bag of the Great Shepherd who longs to launch us into narrow places to bring down the giants of the land. You will be challenged to see yourself as the anointed of God with a God-given uniqueness for a moment in time of His choosing to the benefit of those around you.

Our good friend Andre van Zyl shares an encouraging message using the encounter of Jesus raising to life His friend Lazarus. Like many of us today Martha thought in terms of chronos time which caused her to say that Jesus was 4 days late in arriving. What she failed to realize was that the One who was not bound by the chronos of humanity was about to invade their lives with a Kairos moment. The One who hurt when they hurt changed their situation through a Kairos moment. Through this message you will be encouraged that God wants to do the same for you.

Long time friend of PVAG, Peter Joudry, brings a hope-filled message that centers on God's promise through the Prophet Joel that He would one day pour out His Spirit upon ALL flesh. Hundreds of years after that prophecy God made good on His promise on the day of Pentecost. The Apostle Peter said: "This is that" which was spoken by the prophet Joel. This is that promise of God to people who are against a backdrop of hopelessness, corruption, tyranny, oppression and longing for God's promises. Through this message you will be encouraged that what you have longed for is on the horizon. Your This is That is upon you.

Saul's army was in a battle against the enemy when he decided to make his "foolish" vow that the people could not eat until he had victory. That same army entered into the forest only to find the provision of God on the ground - honey. The tired, weary, battle-worn army however did not "put their hand to their mouth" to eat the provision of God because of the words of man. In so doing they never renewed their strength through God's bountiful provision. Even today God still pours out honey from heaven for His people to received strength, joy, peace, healing and an overall change in countenance... IF we will put our hand to our mouth and eat.

Against the backdrop of religious and political oppression Jesus stood up on the last and greatest day of the Feast of Tabernacles to declare a promise to the thirsty. That promise came to a people who would suffer from the thirst caused by religious and political tyranny. The promise came with a conditional clause: "If any one is thirsty" He promised that from within would flow a river that undoubtedly changed the external landscape of their lives. Likewise today, believers who thirst and drink from the Fountain of Life are promised that same internal river that flows from within.

Jesus wrote to the church in Ephesus commending them for many things they had apparently done right. He praised them for their deeds, toil, perseverance and endurance among a few other things; yet He had one thing against it - they had left their first love. They were praised for things they had done that were good and right but none of them would be more important than a passionate love relationship with Him. Through this message the challenge is laid out to examine the status of your love relationship with the Master in conjunction with the things you do "for" the Master. God's divine order for the church is for us to passionately love Him before anything else.

Most people spend their lives looking for circumstances that would bring them pleasure. Mass amounts of money, relationships and activities of all sorts are some of the ways that people look for pleasure. However God has always intended for man to live in a state of pleasure. This message will give insights to living according to gods plan for your pleasure.

John 5 gives the account of the Pool of Bethesda where the sick, lame and impotent waited for the "stirring of the water". According to the account however only the first one in the stirred waters was able to receive healing. But what happens when the Fountain shows up at the pool? This message centers on Jesus as the source to all of our needs and the healing that comes from the true source of living water.

David said: ‘I SAW THE LORD ALWAYS IN MY PRESENCE FOR HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND, SO THAT I WILL NOT BE SHAKEN. This anointed man of God experienced great victories in his life but also a fair share of hardship and heartache yet was unshaken. The presence of God in his life was the very thing that gave him confidence in the midst of it all. This message will challenge you to see God's presence in your daily life and the resulting outcomes.

Many people pray and ask God to open a door, but that door is often the door of their own choosing. The truth is God wants to put an open door before all believers and all churches. Using the account of Jesus speaking to the church in Philadelphia in Revelation 3 this sermon will help you look for HIS open doors and also understand why He indeed does put an open door before you.

The apostle Paul endured much hardship and many trials during his ministry. These trials were the very things that tried to nullify his incredible ministry yet he never wavered. Why? Because the treasure on the inside of Paul was greater than the trial on the outside. You have this same treasure that exists in your earthen vessel that is greater than any trial you may face.

Often we look at experiencing God as something we wait for or be patient until He reveals His spirit. Utilizing the scriptures from Philippines 3:12-14, this message shows us that it's necessary to actively pursue God and His purposes rather than patiently waiting. We need to search for and respond to divine opportunities as well as moving in His anointing to accomplish an ultimate goal.

Jesus used the parable of the sower to illustrate the message of the kingdom of Heaven is like seed that produces fruit. The soil is the heart of man. Using this as the backdrop this message looks at four types of hearts that receive the kingdom message. This message will cause you to do inventory on your own heart as well as the fruit that is being produced from receiving the seed of the Kingdom which is the word of God.

Peter wanted to know how many times he had to forgive his brother, so he asked Jesus who promptly gave him an answer over and above what he was expecting. Then Jesus went on to explain it through a parable about the kingdom and the core value of forgiveness. As Kingdom people the church must understand that forgiveness is one of the surest ways to show people the character and the nature of the King. Been offended? Having a hard time forgiving?
