The redeemed and redeemer relationship found in the book off Ruth is a vivid picture for our relationship with Christ. This message will present the nature of that relationship. It also reveals the incredible blessings that flow from the fruit of that relationship that radically changes lives.

God is good. That simple statement must be a foundational principle in the life of every believer. The Bible says His goodness or kindness leads us to repentance. Using the story of Ruth and her Kinsmans Redeemer, Boaz this message demonstrates the goodness of God even before redemption. It will cause you to reflect upon the goodness of God even before you knew Him as your redeemer, and it will invite you into a greater level of relationship with Him.

In a special evening service Pat Schatzline shares a word from the life of Samuel as a cry to awaken the remnant to leave a life of compromise for the spirit of consecration. Through this word the body of Christ is called to wake up from their slumber and living in a life of daze. It is a call for the body of Christ to move from a spirit of judging to a spirit of prophesying God's desires upon a generation.

Many people believe that God is mad at them and as a result they live far below the level of favor and opportunity that God intends for them. Through this message, based upon his book, our guest and new friend to PVAG, Pat Schatzline unveils the influences that cause us to believe that God is angry. This message will uncover some of the attributes about God that reveal Him as a loving and merciful God who accepts us, transforms us, renews us, and gives us a future filled with abandon blessing and opportunity.

The Apostle Paul said he claimed to nothing but Jesus Christ crucified. That was the foundation of his teaching, preaching, and ministry. Any other foundation would be one that could be shaken. The other aspect you see in his ministry is the absolute dependence upon the Holy Spirit to lead him to a full life and ministry. This message takes a look at what Paul had to say to Corinthians concerning the ministry of the Holy Spirit. In a day when a lot of things are championed as a must for churches to relate to culture it must be remember that the greatest relevancy to culture is through the Holy Spirit. Individuals dependent upon and sensitive to the presence of the Holy Spirit create a church that is the same.

Throughout the book of Ephesians the Apostle Paul highlights the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Ephesians. Simply put without the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their lives they would be incomplete and unable to fully live in the reality of their salvation. In every chapter he mentions the aspect of the Spirt's work in their lives. Jesus paid the price for our salvation and through that we have been sealed with His Spirit but we must yield to His ministry to experience the fullness of that salvation.

There is an urgency of the hour facing the church, but it is the same one that has always faced the church. It's hosting the life chaining presence of God. All through scripture, including the book of Acts, men and women walked in harmony with the abiding presence of God within them through the Holy Sprit. As they did that they were able to see and experience the manifest presence of God that brought life changing encounters to God's people. This message is a passionate appeal for the church to make every effort to understand the urgency of the hour and make every effort to host the life changing Presence of God.

Our friend, Bishop Robert Stearns was with us for our Sunday services leading us into a powerful time in the Lord. Here's a brief synopsis of his message. The people of Israel were facing a transitional time in their history as Saul was their king, but God had anointed a new king named David. Saul had displeased the people and God took his anointing leaving Saul with a system but no power. David, on the other hand, had the anointing of God but no system. The people were at a place where they would have to choose between sticking with the system or putting their hearts with the anointed. Using this as the backdrop Bishop Stearns uses the tribe of Issachar as a challenge for the church today. This message highlights upon the three things that caused Issachar to put their hearts with the anointed: A Prophetic Ear, An Apostolic Understanding and Covenantal Unity. The church in America is at a transitional time when it will have to decide to choose between the anointing and the system. This message will cause you

The choice between good and best is one of the hardest decisions in life. Once you decide you want God's best for your life you then have to live it out to secure it. Using parallel stories of Joshua leading the people into the Promised Land. and the early church in the book of Acts, this message gives 8 things that we must do in order to walk into God's best. God has a best for your life, your family and His church. Make this the year to run after HIS best for YOUR life.

Many people think it's a hard decision between right and wrong, but one of the hardest decisions in life is deciding between good and best. God has the best in store for us, but good often gets in the way of it. Settling for good is usually easier, more comfortable, and requires less faith but is never as rewarding as pressing onto towards the best. This message is a spiritual provocation towards pursuing the best of God and choosing to not settle for anything less.

During the Christmas season we celebrate the incarnation - God in flesh through the life of Jesus on earth. As Jesus walked the earth He was the manifestation of His father so that others could see God through Him. Wouldn't the best way to celebrate the season of the incarnation is to be incarnational in our personal lives and the corporate life of the body of Christ? This message will challenge you and the body of Christ to take an incarnational approach to the world in which we live.

The Bible says that Jesus was the image of the invisible God. When he walked this earth as a human he the visible Son of God revealed the invisible Father. However Philip said to Him: "Lord show us the Father and that will be enough for us." He had a desire to visibly see the invisible God yet Jesus said to him, "if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. Now, Jesus is the invisible Savior at the right hand of the invisible God. How do the Philips of the world see God or Jesus now? Through the visible believer who has been born again into the image of God. While we celebrate the season of Immanuel this message is a vivid reminder that we, His church, are the body through whom the Philips of the world indeed see Immanuel.

God planted a seed inside of a young girl named Mary that would ultimately birth Jesus the Messiah. He planted another seed through the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts that brought the church through the disciples. Throughout history God has looked for a person or a people who He could plant a seed of something He desired to birth into the world. The church, the five-fold ministry and other leaders need to play the role of a mid-wife to bring into reality that which God desires to birth. In the local church there are many people who have the skill-set to help leaders and other spiritually pregnant people birth what God has planted within them. Using the account of Exodus 1 this message looks at the role of the mid-wife and elevates the role of those who are "spiritual" mid-wives in the body of Christ today.

The angel Gabriel came to a young virgin girl and announced she would give birth to the Savior of the world. Bewildered she asked how that could be? He responded with the Holy Spirit shall come upon you. The SPIRIT of Christmas (the Holy Spirit) would converge with human flesh to birth the prophetic plan of God according to His prophetic timetable. In Acts 1 Jesus told the disciples that the Holy Sprit would come upon them (same phrase) and give them supernatural power to once again birth God's prophetic plan according to His prophetic timetable. God is still in the business of planting seed inside of human flesh to bring about His prophetic plan. He is still in the birthing business. This message will challenge you to long to become pregnant in the spiritual through the SPIRIT of Christmas.

The people of God were a people with a promise as they journeyed to the land of milk and honey - God's promise. They had been mightily delivered from Egypt, saw the Red Sea part, experienced the miracle of bitter water made sweet and bread provided from heaven. They were on their way towards the fulfillment of the promise when something sinister began to creep into the people - the spirit of complaint. This poison entered into the people, displeased God and frustrated Moses the leader. The spirit of complaint threatens your family, the church, your business and even your personal life. Through this message you will be aware of this sinister plot of the enemy to derail you from the promise of God.

This was celebration Sunday kicking off the generation to generation capital campaign. The connecting point of the generations from one to another is the cross of Christ. Nothing more nothing less. Music, worship styles, buildings and other things will never connect the generations. But this message speaks what being connected through the cross means.

This is the fourth in a series of messages on the theme Generation to Generation leading up to launching of PVAG Capital Campaign. It's hard for the people of God to do the things of God without finding themselves in the "miracle zone." It's that place where our needs are greater than our resources, our problems are bigger than our answers, the dream bigger than our ability and the call bigger than the called. When we find ourselves in that place we are in the miracle zone. This message centers on the currency of the miracle zone and the culture of a people who want to live in it.
