Jesus is our bread.

At the cross, we come as beggars and God meets us in his divine compassion.

The defilement of sin comes from the very core and center of man’s being—the heart.

The Bible isn’t primarily about a set of do’s and don’ts, it’s a story of how God is saving us and transforming us into his likeness—into creatures of his love. And we don’t have to pretend otherwise.

Jesus is the satisfying Shepherd who meets our deepest, truest need.

For Christians there is an eternal/future sense of being united with Christ in His resurrection, and there is also an immediate sense of it—which changes how you live. You are as alive to God as you are dead to sin!

Through His death on the cross, Jesus paid the ultimate price in order to redeem creation from sickness, sin, and death.

This is a wonderful season for prayer—but how should we pray? What should we pray for and why?

Actively resting in Jesus’s presence by taking everything to Him in prayer and being guarded by the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Worshipping, responding and praying in light of the coronavirus.

The path of true discipleship is marked by the suffering, self-denial, and death of Christ.

Familiarity with Jesus can become a stumbling block for belief in Jesus.

Your faith can only be as strong as the object within which it resides. Reciprocally, your faith can be as strong as the object within which it resides.

Jesus has absolute authority over evil and the power to liberate us from bondage to it.

Jesus will lead us into storms and see us through storms, because he has authority over every storm. Through storms, our faith is made strong.

The coming of the Kingdom of God is inauspicious, yet inevitable; unimaginable, yet sure.

The secret of the kingdom of God makes sense out of mission. And while mysterious, it is not an unsolvable riddle. The secret of the kingdom comes by hearing. The secret of the kingdom is Jesus.

As missionary disciples, living with gospel faithfulness is what we do.
