Jesus is the fulfillment of the hope of Israel and therefore, you are to receive Him.

Worship Jesus, your Shepherd King.

Jesus is Savior and we’re to trust in Him for salvation, and also moment-by-moment.

The waiting is over, and yet it’s not yet over, but it will one day be fully and finally over.

The God who gives an inheritance to His people, is the very same God who preserves the inheritance for His people.

Emerging from the wilderness involves looking back, pressing forward, and taking refuge in Jesus.

God’s people must be uncompromising in their rejection of sin and pursuit of unity.

God is faithful to do everything He said He would. We too are to be faithful to everything we say we’ll do. But even when we’re faithless, God is faithful.

God wants you to hate sin.

God’s blessed people cannot be cursed.

A major component of your sanctification is growing in trusting God in the wilderness.

The sacrifice of the red heifer and the cleansing ritual described in Numbers 19 anticipates a better, once-for-all sacrifice that washes us clean from the defilement of sin and death.

Who can approach a holy God… and how?

God’s gracious commitment to His people, God’s gracious approach to our sin, the limits of God’s grace, and a call to remember and obey.

Numbers 13–14 bring us to the edge of the Promised Land. While this passage should have marked the near conclusions of Israel’s journey through the wilderness, it instead ends with the Lord commanding His people to turn around and begin a decades-long journey in the opposite direction.

The sin of complaining, the temptation to complain, the roots of complaining, and the remedy for complaining.

God’s grace does not render our obedience pointless or unnecessary; rather, God’s grace is the foundation of our obedience.

Who you travel with affects how you travel.

God is faithful and He is powerfully present. Now get ready for war.

The big question that Proverbs 9 asks the reader is this: Which will you choose? Wisdom or Folly?
