Personally as a Luna fan I have seen many showcases on her story and this is hands down the best one. Kate's crew also discovered some fascinating VHS tapes from a promotion called Wild Women Of Wrestling that have not been seen by the public since the 1980's. Beyond finding even more layers of untold truths this documentary also touches on mental health awareness, gave us an understanding and empathy to those who suffer from bipolar disorder, while also acknowledging how traumas of the past can shape your actions in the future. This year during our adventures at Toronto Comicon we had the pleasure to have quality sit down with George Buza to talk about his returning role as BEAST in the X-Men 97 series. The most fascinating thing about George's iconic X-Men journey is just how much layered correlations he has had in his real life that relates to Beast character. It's kind of spooky in a way. Also around absolutely geeking out this turned into such a soulful introspective chat and a must listen to for any fans on the series. When George was asked by people "Why is this show so much darker than it was in the 90's" he explains that it's because the world is so much harder to live in. You may have heard the song "Goodbye Horses" on your local radio station, in countless Hollywood films like Silence Of The Lambs, or even while doing missions in the Grand Theft Auto 4 videogame. Q Lazzarus who is the artist behind this hypnotic track had a strange disappearance during the height of her fame in the mid 90's. This was shortly after having a scene in the Oscar winning Tom Hanks film "Philadelphia". With not being able to be found some rumors even escalated to her being dead. 25 years later, documentary filmmaker Eva Aridjis Fuentes found her in the most serendipitous way. Q broke her silence, opened up to Eva and explained absolutely everything that happened. This documentary was such a riveting tale that mad us feel sadness, joy, and all that's in between. It seems like Eva and Q's fate of crossing paths was meant to be, and we got the chance to talk to Eva and get a few extra layers of this incredible story.

This chat is around the brand new documentary titled 40 Watts From Nowhere that tells the crazy tale of how her and a band of misfit creatives in the 90's illegally tapped into the Los Angeles airwaves and started a station of their own known as KBLT. It was secretly broadcasted from her own apartment and she spent years of hiding from the FCC as they continued to grow in massive popularity to the point they were getting high profile bands such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers secretly lead to her home because they wanted to be part of the movement. We talk to her about everything from the moment she first flipped the switch and connected to the airwaves, all the way to her thoughts on the current state of independent media. This story is punk rock to the f**kin core and I dedicate this interview to my fellow indy podcasters / content creators out there doing there thing.
