Around being one of our favorite Canadian artists, Sara is also a director/cinematographer who creates stellar music videos for her own songs, teaches guitar lessons for teens at a rehab center, and is on an ever evolving journey as a songwriter. We personally think the album is a modern goth-rock/metal masterpiece and thoroughly geeked out hearing the influence and story behind them taking a different direction towards their latest work. Truly an ever evolving group and Adam leaves us with advice for any aspiring bands and musicians.

Today we are joined with director Peter Lepeniotis to get a behind the scenes look into R.L. Stine's latest film "ZOMBIE TOWN" that features mega legends such as Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase! Also around hearing about how Zombie Town came to be, we take a dive into Peter's amazing history as a legend himself in the animation world. His work spans across some of the most iconic films such as Toy Story 2, Shrek 2, Madagascar, Casper (1995) and so much more. STS always made the music they wanted to make, and we learn through Juha's spirit that keeping true to yourself can withstand the test of times despite ever changing trends and closed minded critics. We also hear about the music writing process leading up to their latest upcoming album release "Shining" which opened up the topics on the affects on ones mental health, using the source of real life pain into your artistic expression, and how if he took the approach of their previous album (Moonflowers) that "He would have blown his brains out". They have just released a brand new EP "Dear God" based on his personal experiences of seeing people in his life use their religious beliefs for evil. Beyond hearing how the band came to be and the evolution of their sound, Jon explains how he felt vulnerable taking this direction with their latest project and almost rewrote all the lyrics. This story is a true example of how projecting your truth and sticking to what's in your heart can unexpectedly connect with people who may not have the voice to do so themselves.

What is great about this film is that it covers a lot of beyond the surface subjects that you don't expect from watching the trailer which leads to some amazing and deep conversations about mental health and overcoming internal struggles. His brand new documentary "Who Is Stan Smith?" was produced by Lebron James and features iconic figures in sports and music (Pharrell Williams / RUN DMC) talking about his impact that goes way beyond the tennis court.
