As the summer winds itself down, the guys review Edgar Wright's "The World's End", then don their special sunglasses to find out if John Carpenter's "They Live" still holds up. Robots and aliens and Rowdy Roddy Piper are everywhere among us!

The guys are up to their eyeballs in high school romance this week as special guest Lydia Howerton helps them review "The Spectacular Now". For Does it Hold Up, the gang tries its best to determine Ducky's sexuality in "Pretty in Pink". The 80's! Where men could dress like moms!

The guys throw on superhero tights for the final time this summer as they review "Kick Ass 2". For Does It Hold Up, they revisit M. Night Shyamalan's sophomore effort "Unbreakable". What would happen if superheroes actually existed? They'd probably subscribe to FOM, for starters...

The boys go full cyborg this week as special guest Adrian Cruz joins them to review Neil Blomkamp's "Elysium". For Does It Hold Up, they take a quick jaunt to Old Detroit and check out 1987's "Robocop". Dead or alive, you're coming with Film or Movie.

Special guest Niki Schwartz-Wright joins the guys to discuss "Fruitvale Station". They then grab some 40's and check out John Singleton's "Boyz in the Hood" to see if it holds up. Four crackers discuss two films about the young black experience in America... sounds about right. 

The team gets Cetacean this week as they review the new doc "Blackfish", which will obliterate any thought of ever going to Sea World again. For Does It Hold Up, they venture to New Zealand and review 2002's "Whale Rider". Yeah, we know "Free Willy" would've been a good pairing, but after "Blackfish" it just... It just wasn't a good idea. 

The guys are joined by special guest and paranormal expert Beth Liebetrau as they review "The Conjuring". For Does It Hold Up, they go to the attic and dust off 1980's "The Changeling" starring George C. (how great an actor I am) Scott. This episode is based on true events... 

The dudes are up to their skyscrapers in giant monsters this week, as they review the robots vs. beasts throwdown that is "Pacific Rim". They then go back to the grand-daddy of all kaiju and find out if 1954's "Godzilla" holds up. Cities may topple, but Film or Movie soldiers on!

The guys get their buddy cop on as they review Paul Feig's "The Heat" and find out if "48 Hours" holds up. Chock full of racial slurs, inadvertant cracks at overweight people, and toplessness, the least interesting part of this week's episode might just be the movie reviews...

The boys tap into their inner child monster with a pairing that will shake you to your core. First, they review Pixar's newest, "Monsters University". Then, for Does It Hold Up, they risk everything and watch Fred Savage's star turn in "Little Monsters". Holy shit, guys. 

Comedy and horror, chocolate and peanut butter... The guys review the meta joke orgy that is "This Is The End", then check to see if 1984's "Ghostbusters" still holds up. Are you the Keymaster? We're Film or Movie. 

You'll believe a podcast can fly, as the boys double down on the Son of Jor-El. First, they review the city-obliterating "Man of Steel". For Does It Hold Up, they re-visit 1978's "Superman", in which Christopher Reeve proceeds to fucking nail it. Kneel before Film or Movie!

The guys come of age this week as they review the indie flick "Kings of Summer". Their Does It Hold Up pairing is 1986's "Stand By Me", complete with Corey Feldman's melty ear. Boom-baba-boom-baba-boom!

The boys get in a New York state of mind, with Noah Baumbach's newest "Frances Ha". They then keep the black and white train rolling with Woody Allen's 1979 classic "Manhattan" for their Does It Hold Up pairing. It's the podcast that never sleeps, it's Film or Movie. 

The boys break out their hair shirt and review the comedy black hole known as "The Hangover Part III". For Does It Hold Up, they don their wallet chains and revisit 1996's "Swingers". Also, to commemorate a half year of churning out podcasts, the guys each re-rate one motion picture from past episodes. It's you and me and Film or Movie makes three tonight!

Reunited, and it feels so good! The OG crew is finally back together, movin' and shakin' on "Star Trek: Into Darkness". And, in a pairing based solely around a petty argument, they jump in a flying DeLorean to see if "Back to the Future Part 2" holds up. All that, and a fateful coin toss that will ruin one FOM'ers week.

Special guest Dylan Kenin joins the dudes as they travel back to a simpler time when people played trumpets. Baz Luhrmann's "The Great Gatsby" is reviewed, followed by a revisit of Little Leo's star turn in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape". Pete also goes on assignment for Artist's Loft, as he records FOM's first in-the-field discussion with friend of the podcast Troian Bellasario regarding "Upstream Color". 

Special Guest P.T. Mcniff joins the guys to tango with the shockingly still-sober Robert Downey Jr. as they review "Iron Man 3" and revisit RDJ's Oscar-nominated turn in "Chaplin". All that, plus Ian's serious hosting voice and a Nerd Alert! Check it!

Special guest Anjali Prasertong breaks through the FOM glass ceiling and joins the guys as they give a SPOILER HEAVY review of "The Place Beyond the Pines". For Does It Hold Up, they check out Robert DeNiro's directorial debut "A Bronx Tale" and double down on father/son crime sagas. All that, plus an Artist's Loft with Pete Monro without Pete Monro.

It's a pocket-sized, double dose of Tom Cruise as the guys review his newest film "Oblivion", then watch Barry Levinson's 1988 classic "Rain Man" for Does It Hold Up. How will the Ageless One fare against the FOM crew and special guest Travis Hammer? Personally, I have no idea.
