Film Or Movie

The boys find their inner soul with this pairing of docs about overlooked musical talent. First up is the Oscar nominated "20 Feet from Stardom", followed by "Standing in the Shadows of Motown". FILM! OR MOVIE! IT'S JUST A SHOT AWAY! IT'S JUST A SHOT AWAAAAAY!!!

The boys celebrate one year of podcasts with a very special LIVE recording! They review Spike Jonze's newest, "Her" and his first film/movie, "Being John Malkovich" then talk top flicks of the year, get heckled by the audience, and more! 

The guys tackle the one percent theis week as they review "The Wolf of Wall Street". They then dip back to 1987 discover if greed is good in Oliver Stone's "Wall Street". Thankfully, neither motion picture could be as bad as Daryl Hannah's sense of decor.  

It's a former SNL cast combo as the guys (finally reunited after what seemed like an eternity) review "Anchorman 2". They then dip back to the swinging 90's to see if the bane of freshman dorms "Austin Powers" still holds up. 

It's an FOM first, as the guys fail to find a replacement for Tony in time and carry on with a three man episode. First, they review the Coen Brothers' newest "Inside Llewyn Davis" then follow it up with a look back at "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Damn, we're in a tight spot. 

Special guest Justin Zsebe joins the guys as they double dip with David O. Russell. First up is his newest, "American Hustle". Then, for Does It Hold Up, they check out Three Kings. What's that waiting for you under the mistletoe? It's Film or Movie. 

Special guest Erin Anderson joins the guys as they review the Cannes darling "Blue is the Warmest Color" and then check out "Last Tango in Paris" to see if it holds up. Cinematic sensuality blooms like a ripe, uh, something something.  

The boys are joined by special guest Jen Reiter as they get a double dose of Payne. Alexander Payne! First up, his latest, "Nebraska". They then hit up "Election" to see if it holds up. Check it!

The guys review "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and tempers flare as one of the team tries to defend the first ever FOM walk-out of a motion picture. Is it all just smoke and mirrors to cover up the fact that he didn't plan his schedule accordingly? They then exchange one future jump suit for another as they dip back to 1987's "The Running Man" to see if it holds up. 

The dudes put themselves through the white guilt wringer this week, as they review "12 Years a Slave" and 1989's "Glory", to see if Freeman vs. Denzel still holds up. All that, and an Artist's Loft!  

The FOM crew adds special guest Nick D'Agosto for an episode of epic proportions! It's double drug, double Leto as they pair "Dallas Buyers Club" with 2000's "Reqiuem for a Dream" to see if it holds up. Get your fix! See what we did there?

One can never have too much Robert Redford. This week the guys review his newest "All is Lost" then dip back to 1972 to (re)discover "Jeremiah Johnson". They go on to compare and- God DAMN Redford has amazing hair. Shit... 

It's a Halloween Special Edition as the guys tackle the age old question: Freddy or Jason? They check out "A Nightmare on Elm St. 3: Dream Warriors" and "Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives" to see if they hold up! A Who Wore It Better then ensues, forcing the guys to ultimately choose between the two murder men. 

National treasure Tom Hanks takes center stage as the guys review his newest, "Captain Phillips", with the help of special guest Michael "Momma" Dunn. They then jump on a giant novelty keyboard to see if "Big" holds up. Robert Loggia, take me away...  

The guys jump into the silent vacuum of space to review Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity". They then dip back to Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" to see if it holds up. Because, really, there was a ton of concern about that. I mean, we were all really nervous. 

What's it all about, Film or Movie? Well, this week it's about reviewing a pair of ladies men flicks. First up, the dudes check out Joseph Gordon Levitt's "Don Jon". They then dip back to the swinging 60's to watch Michael Caine not blink in "Alfie". 

WHERE'S MY WIFE?! These questions and more are asked as the dudes review two kidnapping flicks. First, they check out every parent's nightmare in "Prisoners". Then they revisit Roman Polanski's "Frantic", in which Harrison Ford "dances".  

VROOM! HONK! SPEED! And other fast car noises! The team gets behind the wheel and shifts into review gear as they check out Ron Howard's "Rush". For Does It Hold Up, they look back at "Days of Thunder" starring Tom Cruise and The Girl Whose Head Was On Fire, Nicole Kidman. 

Lock your doors, folks. The guys defend their garage from home invaders as they check out the indie horror flick "You're Next" and then cross paths with legendary director Sam Peckinpah's "Straw Dogs" to see if it holds up. Things get heavy. Prepare. 

The boys are inundated with teen angst this week as they review "Short Term 12" and determine if Morgan Freeman's "Lean on Me" still holds up. All that, plus Tony's brother drops by to share some exciting news!
