Live from Film or Movie.... IT'S US! The guys check out two SNL alums' breakthrough flicks, starting with Pete Davidson in THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND. Then for Does It Hold Up, they cue up the comedy saxophones and discuss 1995's Chris Farley opus TOMMY BOY. Holy schnikes, indeed.

The guys go full Voodoo this week as they review the French film ZOMBI CHILD, then dip back to 1997 to see if National Film Registry selection EVE'S BAYOU holds up. All that, plus Speed Round, a new Cure for Covid, and some always welcome Perfect Strangers talk! 

It's a Hollywood cynic's dream come true as the boys check out  THE ASSISTANT, followed by Robert Altman's 1992 industry takedown, THE PLAYER. One member of the panel continues to befuddle the group with his Film/Movie labels and Tony leads a much-too-soon Pandemic Speed Round. Film or Movie, now more than ever! 

The boys don their douchiest fedoras and hit the town with Tom Hardy's most recent character showcase, CAPONE, then dip back to 1987 to see if Brian De Palma's THE UNTOUCHABLES still holds up. All that, plus dodgy internet service! Quick! Someone catch that stroller! 

The boys are back after a 6 year hiatus to talk all things film and movie! We review Ben Affleck's new(ish) basketball flick The Way Back, then dive into Hoosiers to see if it holds up. Some disclaimers: 1) This ep is longer than usual because we catch up and give an FoM primer for any new listeners. 2) We use swear words. 3) Even worse, we use spoilers. Lace up those Chuck Taylors... it's (the return of) Film or Movie!!! 

Special guest Erin Anderson re-joins the guys as the check out Richard Linklater's "Boyhood". For Does It Hold Up, the gang jumps into the urban mire of Larry Clark's "Kids". What better way to send Pete off on a burning viking podcast ship? "Shhh... It's me, Film or Movie..."

Special guest Alex Fox joins the boys as they go on a criminal road trip with Melissa McCarthy's "Tammy" followed by "Thelma & Louise". Will Tony and Ian clasp hands and plummet into the Grand Canyon? Listen to find out, but probably not. 

Tony and Ian are joined by special guests Nick Massouh and Sami Kriegstein as they review two dragon related flicks. First up is "How to Train Your Dragon 2", followed by Wolfgang Petersen's "The Neverending Story". Does Falkor's massive puppet face hold up? 

With the help of return guest Travis Hammer, the guys go double duty with two Bryan Singer flicks. First is his newest, "Xmen: Days of Future Past" followed by the one that put him on the map: "The Usual Suspects". Gimme the gun, you fucking cocksucker, it's Film or Movie!

The guys trample cities beneath their feet as they review two giant monster movies. First up is the Bryan Cranston wig vehicle "Godzilla", which Rob declared his summer pick of 2014... before actually seeing it. Then, for Does It Hold Up, the gang heads over to Skull Island to review the original "King Kong" from 1933. It's CGI vs lumpy stop-motion! YAY! 

The boys get creepy crawly this week with two spider (shudder) related flicks. First up is "The Amazing Spiderman 2" starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Then, for Does It Hold Up, they dip back to 1990's "Arachnophobia". And a new debate rages concerning the very nature of mux. 

This week the guys avoid sunlight- except for Ian, who does that already- to check out two vampire flicks, starting with Jim Jarmusch's newest, "Only Lovers Left Alive". They then grow Fabio hair (except for Tony) and check out "Interview with the Vampire" to see if it holds up. All that, plus the return of Who Wore It Better! 

The boys file two by two into this week's pairing of Darren Aronofsky's "Noah", and the single take extravagana "Russian Ark" from 2002. More importantly, Ian reveals just how Jewish he is. 

The guys see double this week as they review two twin flicks. First up is "Enemy" followed by David "Highly Vaginal" Cronenberg's "Dead Ringers". Can the FOM team stand up to this much split screen?! 

It's a perfectly framed Wes Anderson party as the guys check out his newest, "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and his firstest, "Bottle Rocket". Who that man? It's Film or Movie!

The boys take to the skies with two aging action stars. First up is Non-Stop, starring Liam "Throat Chop" Neeson. For Does it Hold Up, the guys check out Air Force One, with Harrison Ford appearing as President Harrison Ford. Where's my family, Film or Movie?!

The dudes go full anime this week with a double dip into the work of Hayao Miyazaki. First up is his newest release, "The Wind Rises", followed by 1997's "Princess Mononoke". Will "Mononoke" hold up for those who have only seen it on acid? We'll find out. All that, plus Pete does an amazing Werner Herzog impression.  

Special guest Nick Massouh joins the guys to review a pair of art docs. First up is "Tim's Vermeer" followed by "Crumb". Can you handle this much art talk? Probably not. 

The dudes check out two flicks based on toys this week. First up is "The Lego Movie", followed by 1987's "Master of the Universe", starring a nigh-unintelligible Dolph Lundgren. Is it possible to make a decent motion picture based off a few pieces of plastic? Let's find out, guys. 

The guys (for some reason) pair two holiday related flicks. First up is Jason Reitman's newest "Labor Day". The guys then check out the Bill Murray classic "Groundhog Day" to see if it holds up in spite of some intense bass guitar riffs. Am I right or am I right or am I right? Right. Right!
