The DFSR NFL crew of Doug Norrie and James Davis is back for their second episode of the season, getting you prepped and ready for Week 1 on DraftKings and FanDuel. The season is now right around the corner and they guys are still looking at some of the news that's relevant for the DFS landscape.  They start with the obvious and that's the heightening speculation that Ezekiel Elliott will miss Week 1 of the season. That would put Tony Pollard firmly in the driver seat of the Dallas backfield and likely make him the most highly-owned player on the slate considering his price point. There's also discussion of whether one could even trust Zeke in Week 1 after sitting out this long were he to come back.  After that, they are looking at change-of-scenery/ coming back from injury guys and how that could look for their own stat lines plus those around them. They talk about Jimmy Garoppolo and the receivers in San Fran, Ryan Fitzpatrick looking at the starting nod for the Dolphins and Nick Foles and Dede Westbrook in

The DFSR NFL Podcast is back! It’s been a long offseason with plenty of player movement, news, speculation and much more. And the guys are excited to be back talking footballs and preparing for Week 1 on FanDuel and DraftKings.  They start with a high-level look at some of the big names that find themselves in new situations to start the season and how bullish or bearish to be on these guys heading into the first week of the season. They discuss Le’Veon Bell’s move to New York and the big contract with the Jets. Is he ready to see the same kind of usage he totaled in 2017 with the Steelers? If so then he might be one of the very best values on DraftKings to start the season.  There’s also discussion about what the move to Cleveland will look like for Odell Beckham Jr. and if he is poised to be maybe just the best overall WR in football this season.  They also discuss the Cardinals, Bucs and more as the preparation for Week 1 DFS lineups starts to gear up.

They discuss how to appropriately rank the very top tier of running backs, all of whom seem to be in advantageous spots heading into Week 10. There’s also a look at how to attack the WR position with a lot of viable options. They go through each game, looking at the lines and giving a sense of how to attack them from a DFS perspective.

The guys discuss Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback. There are some very interesting decisions to be made at running back with a number of excellent plays in basically price tier. They look at Todd Gurley, Alvin Kamara, Kareem Hunt and even Melvin Gordon among the expensive group. But also make mention of Nick Chubb and Aaron Jones in the middle tier.
