DFS NFL Podcast - Week 7 Game-By-Game Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/17/19
17/10/2019 Duración: 01h02minJames and Doug are back with their game by game podcast for NFL DFS in week 7! They pore over the details on all of the outstanding injury news, ownership info, and vegas data to bring you comprehensive coverage of good plays for cash games and big tournaments for the main slates on FanDuel and DraftKings. They discuss where the production might come from in the Falcons/Rams game, which has a huge total but a relative lack of DFS studs this year. They discuss whether you cant trust Josh Allen as a 16.5 point favorite. Is Josh Jacobs an interesting big tournament play given his game-script dependent boom or bust nature? Is Mike Williams really going to be a reliable source of double digit targets now that teams are focusing on Keenan Allen? Is playing Daniel Jones taking the whole "you can play any quarterback against Arizona" thing too far? There are a number of questions this week, and if you're looking for in depth analysis on how those questions should be answered, you've come to the right place. As alway

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 7 Cash Game Picks and Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/16/19
16/10/2019 Duración: 40minDoug and James are back with their cash game picks going into week 7! On another thin week, the guys were pleased to see there were once again playable options across multiple price tiers at quarterback. Whether you want to go down to Josh Allen or Kyler Murray in great matchups with the Dolphins and Giants, or pay up for Russell Wilson, this is looking like a week where QB is unlikely to kill you. At running back we have a few more question marks, primarily surrounding the health of Saquon Barkley. If he gets a clean bill of health, you could see him as a chalk play against a fast paced Arizona squad. After Barkley, the DFSR lineup optimizer is calling out some familiar names like Leonard Fournette and Chris Carson. The usage has been there for weeks, and both look like rock solid cash game options. Wide receiver is probably the most problematic position this week. The guys discuss going back to Cooper Kupp after he disappointed against the 49ers, and doing likewise with Tyler Boyd, who is now officially too

Special Episode - NBA DFS Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings and Season Win Total Betting
15/10/2019 Duración: 53minIt’s a special NBA podcast on the NFL feed. With FanDuel and DraftKings releasing pricing for the opening slate of games on October 22, the guys want to get an early look at some of the salaries and how they are planning on tackling a season in which we saw major superstar turnover. They look at the opening slate of games and with four teams all at different stages of rebuilding/ retooling or making a championship run. First they discuss the Toronto Raptors and what they look like without Kawhi Leonard this season. In some ways, this is the most projectable team because we saw them with their superstar many times last season. The guys also discuss the new-look New Orleans Pelicans who enter the season with an almost completely revamped starting lineup. They try to not get (too) excited for Zion Williamson this early in his career, but also discuss Lonzo Ball moving teams. There’s significant discussion as well about Anthony Davis on the Lakers and Kawhi’s actual move to the Clippers who will be without

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 6 Game-By-Game Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/10/19
10/10/2019 Duración: 58minIt’s time for a Week 6 game-by-game breakdown for the FanDuel and DraftKings main slate. With four teams on byes and a game in London early Sunday morning (EST), we get a slightly smaller player pool than previous weeks. Plus you add the Redskins-Dolphins game and that number grows even smaller. The guys take you through all of the games, the betting lines, over/unders, injury information and DFS plays for Sunday Week 6. They spend a little more time on some of the more interesting games like the Texans and Chiefs which has a huge total and could end up a shootout. Kansas City is dealing with a number of injuries and have looked somewhat pedestrian the last couple of weeks. Meanwhile, Houston is coming off a monster week against the Falcons that saw Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller go completely off. There’s also some discussion around the Cardinals and Falcons that also has a big total thanks in part to the compromised defenses on both sides. Kyler Murray and Matt Ryan both make for solid cash game plays at t

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 6 Cash Game Picks and Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/9/19
09/10/2019 Duración: 43minJames Davis and Doug Norrie are back to break down their cash game plays for week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings. Quarterback is looking like a healthy position this week, with great options across multiple price tiers. Whether you want to go cheaper with Kyler Murray in what should be a high-flying game with Atlanta, or want to pay up for more established options like Deshaun Watson or Lamar Jackson, you don't need to build your whole lineup around any given quarterback, leaving you flexibility elsewhere. Running back is where things get interesting. The guys agree that Dalvin Cook is probably the safest guy on the board, but then dive into a discussion about the relative safety of some cheaper options. With RBs like Fournette and Bell gobbling up usage at incredible rates in relatively bad offenses, does it make sense to pay down for them and apply your savings elsewhere? Can we go back to the David Johnson well? There's a chance DFSR winds up being off the chalk this week. Wide receiver has a few lock solid c

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 6 Preview and Week 5 Recap FanDuel and DraftKings 10/8/19
08/10/2019 Duración: 40minJames and Doug are back to break down week 5, and their excellent cash game run to start the 2019 NFL DFS season. Week 5 cash games were mostly decided by a few key players, with individual performances making up for any mistakes you may have made along the way. Whether you were able to grab Deshaun Watson at QB, Christian McCaffrey at RB, Will Fuller or Michael Thomas at WR, or the Eagles D, you pretty much needed one of these huge performances in order to get there. While there wasn't much injury news this week, the guys do discuss the sickening hit taken by Mason Rudolph, and where we can project the Steelers going forward as they continue to march down their depth chart. Doug and James also discuss the changing of the guard at running back and wide receiver this year. The top names on the running back touches list are somewhat unfamiliar, and from week to week running backs are looking highly game script dependent. With no Christian McCaffrey on the main slate this week, it's going to be tough to find 2

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 5 Game-By-Game Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/3/19
03/10/2019 Duración: 01h16minDoug and James are back with another #megapod, breaking down every single game on the main slate for cash games in week 5 in the DFS landscape on FanDuel and DraftKings. It's arguably the most difficult week of the season, with particularly big questions at running back. Do we go with Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette, or split the difference with Alvin Kamara and Dalvin Cook? Ezekiel Elliott is generating lots of DraftKings buzz at his low prices - is he a must play over there? What about punt level plays that could have a lot of touches in positive game scripts, like David Montgomery and Wayne Gallman? The guys wade through this sea of running back uncertainty. Quarterback brings more question marks, with the industry rallying around cheap options in great match-ups (like Andy Dalton) while also trying to assess whether it's better to simply avoid the question marks and go with still cheap and more proven options like Deshaun Watson or Lamar Jackson. Either way, there are a lot of good plays at mul

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 5 Cash Game Picks and Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 10/2/19
02/10/2019 Duración: 38minDoug and James are back to discuss their NFL DFS cash game options for week 5 on FanDuel and DraftKings. As the season progresses, we are seeing some interesting trends beginning to form at the various positions, and the guys wind up with lots to talk about. DFSR has something of a crisis at quarterback this week, pitting reliable now-expensive option Lamar Jackson against the cheap and unreliable Andy Dalton. The devil is in the match-up, of course, where Dalton gets the incredibly fast-paced Cardinals and Jackson has to contend with a revitalized Steelers defense. The big question is how much the savings matter, so let's look at some other positions. Running back starts and stops with Christian McCaffrey, who is leading running backs in both rushing opportunities and targets. The big question will come down to whom to pair with him. Do we roll it back with Leonard Fournette, now that we know what his touches look like in a favorable game-script? How do we pick between Cook and Kamara at identical prices? Th

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 5 Preview and Week 4 Recap FanDuel and DraftKings 10/1/19
01/10/2019 Duración: 41minDoug and James are back to break down week four in the wild world of NFL DFS. This was thankfully a relatively light week in terms of fantasy-related injuries, but there was still plenty to talk about. The guys discuss whether Lamar Jackson is moving into the Patrick Mahomes tier of quarterback safety, and whether we should be worried after Mahomes' worst game of the season. Generally, they conclude that quarterback is still looking like a fairly safe position across multiple price tiers, and that we should have plenty of decent options for cash games and big tournaments going forward. This week saw a few breakout performances at running back - most notably Nick Chubb and Leonard Fournette - and Doug and James discuss which of those have changed our assumptions about players going forward. While there are still only a small handful of game-script independent plays at the position going forward, there might be more safety here going forward than there appeared to be last week. Wide receiver was relatively unev

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 4 Game-By-Game Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings 9/26/19
26/09/2019 Duración: 01h16minThe DFSR crew is back for the Week 4 Game-by-Game breakdown for the DraftKings and FanDuel NFL main slate. They are looking at each game, discussing the injury news and notes, cash game vs. GPP narratives, over/unders, point spreads and more. It’s a packed podcast with the guys trying to wade through the running back quagmire we might see with so many backs properly, or even overpriced going into Week 4. They discuss a bunch of options with the positive and negatives around each. Guys like Nick Chubb, Marlon Mack, Leonard Fournette, Wayne Gallman, Devontae Freeman and more at different price points. They discuss the Browns as possible betting values getting points and the Patriots looking like they can cover the -7.5 road spread against the Bills. Other discussions are around not falling into a Mike Evans trap, some cheaper Carolina receivers and much much more. It’s a packs hour+ podcast discussing everything you need to know the for the DraftKing and FanDuel NFL Week 4 main slates. Either way, this shap

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 4 Cash Game Plays and Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings
25/09/2019 Duración: 36minWe're usually brimming with confidence when presenting our DFS cash game plays from week to week, but week four is shaping up to be a wild one. With relatively little injury news, big price tags on a lot of the breakout players, and one very thin position, we're going to have to pay pretty close attention to put together coherent lineups for week four. Quarterback is looking all but locked for us right now. Russell Wilson faces a Cardinals team that has allowed three of the top twenty DFS performances on FanDuel and DraftKings, and he's coming off of one of the best games of his career. If the prices don't wind up working out, the guys also wind up making cases for Patrick Mahomes, Matt Ryan, and Daniel Jones. Running back is where things get dicey. After an overwhelming chalk option in Christian McCaffrey, it's a wide open field. Doug and James debate whether it's best to go with a high volume running back in a bad match-up (like Dalvin Cook or Nick Chubb) or a cheaper more speculative option (like Wayne Gal

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 4 Preview and Week 3 Recap FanDuel and DraftKings
24/09/2019 Duración: 46minWeek 3 is in the books and the guys at DFSR are looking back with a recap of Sunday’s action and a preview of Week 4. It was a good day to be a fill-in quarterback with Daniel Jones and Kyle Allen turning in some of the week’s best performances. But there’s some injury news out there as well. Saquon Barkley will miss some time for the Giants and there could be value in his replacement Wayne Gallman. T.Y. Hilton and Julian Edelman also left their respective games early and the guys try to make sense of what the Colts and Pats passing attacks will look like. They also break down some of the top fantasy performances of the week and talk about relative safety at each position. There’ve been some interesting stats to dive in to since the beginning of the season with some real question marks about who you can trust at running back. All of this and more on a Week 3 recap and Week 4 preview.

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 3 Game-By-Game Preview for FanDuel and DraftKings
19/09/2019 Duración: 01h07minIt’s Week 3 already and the DFSR crew of Doug Norrie and James Davis are going game-by-game on the main slate for FanDuel and DraftKings talking injury news and notes, Vegas lines, cash game vs GPPs and much, much more. It’s a packed podcast with the guys looking at games from all angles. They spend time looking at the crazy lines in the Dolphins-Cowboys and Jets-Patriots games. Both home teams are more than 20-point favorites which is nearly unheard of in the NFL. Much of the podcast is spent making sense of the running back position with so many solid options this week. But there’s also quite a bit of question around wide receiver as well. They discuss guys like Antonio Brown who could see an increase in snaps, Keenan Allen and Sammy Watkins but also the Eagles’ situation, Marquise Brown and much more. It’s a packed game-by-game DFS NFL podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings.

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 3 Cash Game Picks and Plays for FanDuel and DraftKings 9/18/19
18/09/2019 Duración: 37minIt’s Week 3 for the NFL and the guys are breaking down cash game plays for FanDuel and DraftKings main slate contests. We enter an odd time for the NFL and daily fantasy because of the amount of injuries as well as a growing chasm between the haves and have nots in the league. There is still plenty of value, but the player pool appears somewhat constricted because of the amount of uncertainty around certain teams. They go position-by-position discussing cash plays in varying price tiers. They debate whether paying up for Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes (same game) is worth it or if there’s any safety going into the lower tier. At running back, the Cam Newton news throws guys like Christian McCaffrey into doubt while Ezekiel Elliott is in a smash spot against the Dolphins. And finally, they run through some mid-tier options at both wide receiver and tight end. All of this and more on a Week 3 cash game podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings.

DFS NFL Podcast - Week 3 Preview and Week 2 Recap FanDuel and DraftKings 9/17/19
17/09/2019 Duración: 45minDFSR’s Doug Norrie and James Davis are on the podcast recapping an injury-filled Week 2 in the NFL. Some big names like Ben Roethlisberger and Drew Brees will miss extended time, Ben for the whole season and Brees at least a month. There were other injuries as well too that will matter over the course of this week. James Conner, and both Chiefs’ running backs Damien Williams and LeSean McCoy left their respective games early. And of course, there is the Eagles WRs DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffrey who were banged up as well. That, and some other injury news, is going to really shape Week 3 lineups. The guys look at their FanDuel and DraftKings cash lineups and how they fared. Plus a look ahead to Week 3 with the Ravens-Chiefs offering a bunch of fantasy options, the crazy -21.5 Cowboys against the Dolphins and much more. It’s a packed Week 2 recap and look ahead to Week 3 on DraftKings and FanDuel.

The guys are going through the entire main slate and looking at the injury news and notes, top plays from each game, betting lines, over/unders and more. There’s a discussion about cash game plays versus GPP guys, what to make of possible outlier performances from Week 1 and who might be in a bounce-back situation for Week 2. They try to make sense of the Chiefs with Tyreek Hill out of the mix for the foreseeable future and how that could impact some of the lesser-known pass catchers. The Los Angeles-New Orleans game could be a shootout and that just could be a cash game stack with guys like Alvin Kamara and Todd Gurley. And they try to figure out a Steelers’ team that was dismantled in Week 1 by the Patriots. All of this and much, much more on a Week 2 game-by-game breakdown for FanDuel and DraftKings.

11/09/2019 Duración: 42minIt’s a Week 2 NFL DFS Cash Game Podcast for FanDuel and DraftKings. Coming off a very strong Week 1 with Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, Mark Ingram and some solid performing wide receivers, the guys take a look at the landscape to see where the cash game value lies on this Sunday’s main slate. At quarterback they talk about whether Lamar Jackson can pull a repeat performance against the Arizona Cardinals, if it’s worth it pay up for Patrick Mahomes or if a cheaper Josh Allen against the Giants is the key. At running back they talk about some of the higher usage backs who may have underperformed in Week 1 and whether you can go back to the well. And at wide receiver there’s talk about how we might be living in the mid tier from here on out considering the nature of the position. Week 1 Recap, Lamar Jackson Victory Lap, Cash Game Wins and Week 2 Preview
10/09/2019 Duración: 44minThe DFSR guys take to the podcast breaking down Week 1 for FanDuel and DraftKings. There’s a ton to look at from an exciting first week of NFL action. They discuss their Lamar Jackson play and the surprise that he was so low-owned in cash games on both sites. Jackson, of course, crushed the souls of the Miami Dolphins and was the highest-scoring quarterback on both sites. It came through the air more than his legs which does cause some concern going forward, but overall he was a top play. Some key injuries to Tyreek Hill and Nick Foles will mean major adjustments for Week 2 for the Chiefs and Jaguars respectively. There’s also discussion about the takeaways from Week 1 and where we can have solid information and what other performances look like outliers or game script issues. They look at Josh Jacobs as a potential bell-cow running back for Oakland but also express concern over some other backfield situations. And of course, they have to talk about some of the crazy wide receiver games, breaking down wh
