On this episode Mike Stefano and Katelyn Ritter hosted another OCR Podcast Roundtable ! With Jason Dupree and Anna Landry (from OCR Talk), Josh Chace (from ORM's Davis and Chace), Kim DeVoss (from OCR Coven) and yours truly ! We talked about good and bad of 2020 and what we are looking forward to in 2021! this was so much fun i loved chatting with everyone. On this episode I brought Jason Branham back on to tell us about his first 100 mile trail ultra he did with Chad Houk in West Virginia. The race was called the Rim to River 100. We go over the whole race and he tells us everything about it.

On this episode VeeJay  Jones tells us about an OCR coaching program that he and Rich Diaz are doing from Diaz Human Performance. We also talk about his training facility that he is working on completing soon in Colorado. We talk about his last Spartan race in 2020 and his highlights from 2019. We also talk about his  past weekend at the Florida Savage race. I also asked him about being on The Million Dollar Mile series show as well.

On this episode Victor Quezada talks to us about all the OCR races he has done since 2013. He took 2nd place finish at Dallas Savage Race that he recently did. He tells us about working for Terrain race and racing for them. We also talk about the experience that he had on Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge. 

In this episode I talk with Spartan Pro Team member Ashley Heller, and about how her last race went in Jacksonville, FL.  Where she placed 6th in the one and only national series race. Then we talk about covid times, how she found the sport, and past races. On this episode me and my friend Jimmy just talk shop! Talk about past OCR races , races he ran with Oscar Mike and his most recent endurance event at The Gauntlet ! Which is an endurance event that takes place in Georgia that will sometimes go over 30 hours long. 

On this episode my friend Michael Roberson and I talk about the Jacksonville, Florida  Spartan Sprint and Trail race. This is the first Spartan race during Covid-19 Pandemic and we go over all the changes and safety precautions that took place. I feel like Spartan did a great job on putting on this event and we had a good experience running the course.  I recorded this on the way home because we didn't have any other time to record so I apologize for the road noise in the background.

He explains how with a family life he didn't have the time to put in large training blocks and he figured out a way to get more with less time. On this episode I talk to Greg Coleman and Brian Hess from Trinity Fitness in Jacksonville, Florida, where they put on the Swamp Battle OCR event. The event takes place at WW Ranch Motocross park, which is the same venue Spartan race uses. They give us all the details on the race, and we also talk about his gym Trinity Fitness. The event take place on March 21st from 7-4pm if you live in the area you definitely want to check this out!

On this episode I talked with Ryan Atkins on how he pretty much crushes anything he puts his mind to. We talk about a lot of the endurance events he has done and how he prepared for them.  He tells us about Spartan Ultra WC , Worlds Toughest Mudder ,and his experience running the Bruce trail in Canada. On this episode LeeAnn Blizzard and I recap the Carolina Ultra. This being her first ultra we talk about her strategy going into the race.  We go over what worked and what didn't work. This was a great race and a great venue. The rain pounded it all day Saturday and it sucked in the most epic way possible! A lot of people expected an easy Ultra and I think everyone was quite surprised. 

On this episode I talk with Heather Olson from the Overcome and Run podcast. Heather tells us about getting into OCR and how she has been focusing on the longer races this year. From getting 40 miles at 12 hr toughest event to doing her first Spartan Ultra we talk about it all! Including her strategies for going to Worlds Toughest Mudder!!

On this episode Kris Mendoza talks about all things ultra running from training , fueling, and mindset. Whether its WTM or a Spartan ultra we covered a little bit of it all. We also talked Toughest Mudder West this past weekend where he took 1st in tougher mudder in the morning then that night ran on the first place relay team for the toughest 12 hr race.  We talk about  Killington and Tahoe spartan Ultras that he did recently as well!
