Daily Devotion: Just like receiving a gift on your birthday, the first thing you do is unwrap the gift to first see what it is, and secondly, you immediately try to use it.  We all have a gift inside of us.  It's no good to you or anyone else if you don't unwrap your gift.  More importantly, make sure that you use your gift.  Many times, we are so busy worrying about what we do not have, rather than focussing our time and efforts on what God has graced us with already.  Walk in your gift! 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." Your talent is God's gift to you. Daily Devotion:   The deeper your roots travel into the dirt, the less you are affected by the storms of life.  If you have shallow roots you can easily be swayed by the winds, and rain.  In order to grow deeper roots, you must first answer, "what am I rooted in?"  The Bible teaches us to be rooted and grounded in God's word.  This is how you will gain strength for life and grow in your faith.  Psalms 1, "But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. Daily Devotion:    "Haters Gone Hate, Read Proverbs 9:8." It rhymes! This is a great lesson for all of us to keep in mind.  There will be people in your life that do not understand you or your walk with Christ. However, it is our job to live as Christ-like as possible.  Walk in love.  Show love.  Give love. Daily Devotion:   Face it, some of us just plan to fail without ever giving life a real try. There's a builder in the Netherlands constructing a house called, the prenuptial house.  This house will separate and literally drift apart down the stream once the family decides to get a divorce. Today, we want to remind you to fight.  Fight for more, fight for your purpose, fight for passion and to live out your destiny.  Don't be quick to throw in the towel.  Get out of that sinking sand and stand firm on the foundation of the Lord.  Anything that's worth fighting for in life deserves all of you. Daily Devotion:   We were created to "Rejoice" in the Lord, always.  God inhabits the praises of His people.  The more we praise God and lift Him up, the more we bless Him.  When we're going through good times or bad times, we need to "Rejoice."  Give God your best praise right now! Daily Devotion:   Balance is a necessity for your life.  However, it doesn't happen on it's own, you must fight for it.  Create intentional balance for your life.  Develop better boundary management over your task lists.  Remember, Jesus gave so much of Himself but He also took time for Himself.   Mark 6:31, "And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat."
