  • Unwrap Your Gift

    20/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion: Just like receiving a gift on your birthday, the first thing you do is unwrap the gift to first see what it is, and secondly, you immediately try to use it.  We all have a gift inside of us.  It's no good to you or anyone else if you don't unwrap your gift.  More importantly, make sure that you use your gift.  Many times, we are so busy worrying about what we do not have, rather than focussing our time and efforts on what God has graced us with already.  Walk in your gift! 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God. -Leo Buscaglia     Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal aw

  • Hod Deep Are Your Roots?

    16/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   The deeper your roots travel into the dirt, the less you are affected by the storms of life.  If you have shallow roots you can easily be swayed by the winds, and rain.  In order to grow deeper roots, you must first answer, "what am I rooted in?"  The Bible teaches us to be rooted and grounded in God's word.  This is how you will gain strength for life and grow in your faith.  Psalms 1, "But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree. -Joyce Meyer       Stolen Lunches is a bible

  • Haters Will Hate...

    15/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:    "Haters Gone Hate, Read Proverbs 9:8." It rhymes! This is a great lesson for all of us to keep in mind.  There will be people in your life that do not understand you or your walk with Christ. However, it is our job to live as Christ-like as possible.  Walk in love.  Show love.  Give love. Be the light that shines in a dark room.   Proverbs 9:8, "Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you." You pick up some fans and a handful of haters along the way. -Bruno Mars     Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.

  • Ready to Fight?

    15/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   Face it, some of us just plan to fail without ever giving life a real try. There's a builder in the Netherlands constructing a house called, the prenuptial house.  This house will separate and literally drift apart down the stream once the family decides to get a divorce. Today, we want to remind you to fight.  Fight for more, fight for your purpose, fight for passion and to live out your destiny.  Don't be quick to throw in the towel.  Get out of that sinking sand and stand firm on the foundation of the Lord.  Anything that's worth fighting for in life deserves all of you. Mark 3:25, "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Benjamin Franklin

  • Devil You Can't Have Me!

    14/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   Understand that there are traps set by your enemies to take you down and destroy you.  You need to make daily choices to not fall into these traps.  Be able to see it for the evil darkness that it is! We don't fight with flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness.   Romans 12:21, "Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good." A brave man is a man who dares to look the Devil in the face and tell him he is a Devil. -James A. • Lean on Faith

    13/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   Faith is believing in the unseen while trusting in God.  Where is your faith today?  Remember, "faith" is an action word.  It's something you must believe and do, no matter how your circumstances may look.  Stand on faith and trust in God,  today and everyday! Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Faith is not simply a patience that passively suffers until the storm is past. Rather, it is a spirit that bears things - with resignations, yes, but above all, with blazing, serene hope. -Corazon Aquino         Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.

  • How Do You Bless God?

    09/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   We were created to "Rejoice" in the Lord, always.  God inhabits the praises of His people.  The more we praise God and lift Him up, the more we bless Him.  When we're going through good times or bad times, we need to "Rejoice."  Give God your best praise right now! Philippians 4:4, "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!" If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. -Eleonora Duse       Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.

  • How Did You Wake Up This Morning?

    08/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:    Did you roll out of bed to a plethora of emails, social media posts and tasks lists?  Challenge yourself to go to God in prayer and worship before your feet even hit the ground.  Spend precious devotional time with your Father.  In these quiet moments, God will show you how to do less, while accomplishing so much more. Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world,  but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.“ “If a man wants to be used by God, he cannot spend all of his time with people.” – A. • The Joy of the Lord...

    08/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:    "The joy of the Lord is MY strength." We find the most peace and joy when we are in the presence of God and in His will.  Meditate on these moments in your life.  Be filled with the everlasting gift of joy in your soul.  Psalm 16:11, "You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever." Joy in looking and comprehending is nature's most beautiful gift. -Albert Einstein     Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.

  • Do You Need Balance?

    05/02/2017 Duración: 02min

Daily Devotion:   Balance is a necessity for your life.  However, it doesn't happen on it's own, you must fight for it.  Create intentional balance for your life.  Develop better boundary management over your task lists.  Remember, Jesus gave so much of Himself but He also took time for Himself.   Mark 6:31, "And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat." It's all about quality of life and finding a happy balance between work and friends and family. -Philip Green       Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.

  • Hitting Rock Bottom?

    02/02/2017 Duración: 01min

Daily Devotion:   The beautiful part about hitting rock bottom is that you can only go up from there.  When you're on your knees, in a position of surrender, that's the best place to be.  Know the one to depend on is Christ. God is our rock and He's right there in the valley with you. Psalm 18:2, "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you're grateful, you'll see God open up new doors. -Joel Osteen       Stolen Lunches is a bible study community of believers.  We hold men, women, and couples bible studies.  We have annual retreats, missions trips and weekly prayer calls.  You can join us from anywhere in the world.  Sign up for our newsletters & stay connected.   Steal away with us and be fed by God~ Stolen Lunches.
