Sinopsis
Daily Devotion: The deeper your roots travel into the dirt, the less you are affected by the storms of life. If you have shallow roots you can easily be swayed by the winds, and rain. In order to grow deeper roots, you must first answer, "what am I rooted in?" The Bible teaches us to be rooted and grounded in God's word. This is how you will gain strength for life and grow in your faith. Psalms 1, "But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don't see what goes on underground - as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don't see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way, what goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree. -Joyce Meyer Stolen Lunches is a bible
