God is saying stop. He has something better in store for you. When God says "Wait," He is teaching you patience.  He is saying wait on His perfect timing.   Psalm 27:14, "Wait patiently for the Lord. Daily Devotion:   When you confess God's promises over your life it has to come to pass. The word of God is living and active.  If you confess the word over your heart and your life it shall not come back void. Psalms 19:14,"May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer." Daily Devotion:    What you feed will grow and what you starve will die.  Time is a huge indicator of what's important in your life.  If you want to get in shape and be fit, then you would probably find yourself in the gym and/or eating a balanced diet.  This is what it means to say, "What you feed will grow." Staying in the gym feeds a physically, healthy lifestyle.   Put constant attention to the good things in your life so you can fill up on it and overflow.  Cut, eliminate, stop and prohibit any of the bad things in your life so you can eventually starve it and stop it from growing.  2 Peter 3:18, "Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Daily Devotion:   Detours may feel like a huge inconvenience. They take you out of your way. They're typically unexpected, and there's no upfront reason for the change in the first place. Detours of life are God's way of redirecting your path. Thank God for every detour instead of getting frustrated. It may be a set up for something greater.  Proverbs 119: 105, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Dily Devotion: Do you ever find yourself going to God with your hopes and dreams, then wondering why they haven't come to pass?  God's plans for our lives are so much bigger than our own.  Sometimes, we spend way too much time going to God with our ambitions. What God is really saying is, "Be patient I have an even bigger plan for you."  Matthew 6:10, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Daily Devotion:   Be careful what you allow to enter into your heart and mind. It can determine the flow of your life!  Be on guard from negative thoughts and protect yourself from people who may speak negative words over your life.  Guard your heart, "Grrrrrr."
