Not For Nothin'

The show starts off talking tart and dry cider. Kinda explains the whole show, doesn't it? They actually talk some baseball, but of course it's not all game related because why? They do pick their World Series favorites but it's two NL teams, so good luck with that (7:34). Do they really believe in the Sixers playoff hopes, and Kris wants to bet on the Blazers (41:21). And LeBron trying to claim intellectual property on something that wasn't his original idea (51:12). That doesn't sound too smart, even to these two.

C & K ease their way into a civilized show by forgetting their ugly past and really quickly talking about one baseball story...honestly, it's enough (2:40). There's a lot of loose meandering, before Kris some how Jedi Mind tricks Chris into talking NFL Draft (12:17). Finally these two settle their differences on Brad Stevens and find some common ground to move forward on. That and they talk NBA playoffs (36:00). It's a good way to end the show... BFF's, the way their were always meant to be.

They start out talking baseball, baseball - Are there any cool-ass players right now (2:30)? After spending way too long on baseball, these two finally get to the good stuff, NBA Playoffs. What's up with Lance, Can LeBron really go wherever he wants, you know the really important questions. (22:28). Then the inevitable happens Brad Stevens come between the Chris and Kris (44:45). They wrap it up talking Cobra Kai... look it up.

The Portland Trailblazers are so bad at playoff basketball, Chris & Kris decided to call an emergency podcast to about it. At least that's their excuse for failing to produce one earlier last week. As usual they talk about sports and a lot of nonsense.

Chris calls in from LA and Kris has a little technical issues, fitting for their last show from their seaport location. They start off with more baseball talk, which is absurd. But at least they bash the Yankees announcers (3:23). After a smooth sequel into NBA talk, Kris comes out firing with a hot take, Sixers in the Eastern Conference Finals (24:14)! Chris throws out his pick of the week early (33:56), then talk the Big Ragu (such a terrible nickname) and his NBA future, then get into the Wizards troubles, and no Coaches being GM's any more.

The show starts off a little messy and it doesn't get much better than that. Ya know, they're kinda the Grayson Allen of on-line radio sports shows (:52). They do talk March Madness for a while, but they are so scatterbrained it morphs into NBA talk (8:26). They solve the fouling & too many free throws problem, then go back to jumping between topics involving OBJ & Albert Belle (24:20). Then they go head-to-head on their bet of the week.

With Kris back in studio (in body only though it seems), the guys bring in long-time friend and Super Fan of the show, Anthony Moreno Brown. There's a lot of rambling in random topics, but eventually they talk about the hottest sports topics in 2017, because that's topical (8:09). They do bring it to the present with NCAA & G League ideas, And Kris actually agrees with Chris twice, it's amazing! That alone is worth listening to.

With winter coming to a close the boys hope springs eternal, shouts out the loss of Craig Mack and how much time left they have themselves (:40). Somehow this is related to their brackets busting on the first day of the NCAA Tournament. So of course, they "re-do" their brackets, cause that's not cheating at all (4:20). Like the flowers starting to bloom so does their love of the NBA (23:48). Then they wrap it up with their bets of the week (48:18).

The boys attempt to fill out their brackets, because last years show turned out so well. Somehow they managed to turn into a sex version of Car Talk. Actually that's not so surprising now.

The boys decide to to have Oscar talk, with a little conspiracy theory town in there, because thats what they do (2:36). Chris realizes Shape of Water is a Oscar-winning remake of Splash (17:06). They handicap the Amazon HQ2 location odds (25:33). Finally, some sports talk, c'mon fellas: Lebron potential affect on the Sixers, why Vikings would be interested in Kirk Cousins, NBA bets of the week (36:10). Also LL Bean sells guns & ammo, WTF!?!?!?

While Kris is on vacation (not surprising), Chris brings in his Knicks friends to have a sad-sack fest & smack-talk. Chris also attempts to get RJ and Mike to side with him on his dumb Gamblero curse and conspiracy theory. They don't by it, much to Kris's future pleasure. This show really needs to be sponsored by Tecate.

Boy, these guys really hit rock bottom already. I figured they make it to March at least. Chris is late, Kris is talking dumb baseball stuff. They try to talk NBA, but it's so random and awkward. Chris wants to bet on the Olympics, so desperate. Oh, but I'm sure you'll still enjoy this episode. Also, I think Kris could use a nice relaxing vacation.

As Chris calls in from the super secret Vermont location, Kris is already upset about the stupid tradition that is Groundhogs Day (1:04). Next comes their favorite topic, the NFL & the Super Bowl. Kris throws out his reverse Patriots theory, but does Chris still think the fix is in for the Patriots (11:39)? Once Chris's phone dies, Kris talks some hoops to himself (14:40).

Chris is all over the place to start the show. Way to set the tone, buddy. For someone who hates Star Wars, Chris really wants to keep talking about it (4:01). They decide to talk about and try to understand why the XFL is coming back (10:12). Hey boys should we talk some gambling and football, since it's you know the Super Bowl. Maybe make pick a winner and some props (35:04)?

The long and exhausting season that was the NFL in 2017 finally broke Chris. He's all in on the Patriots are favored at set up to win by the NFL, the Refs, and...hell everyone but him and people who hate the Patriots. The basis for a good conspiracy theories. Kris loves a good debate, so what a better combination. Just remember boys, don't go to bed angry at each other... Now, fight!

Chris opens the show with a quote... from Blake-F'ing-Bortles! Deal with it (:54). From one great QB to another, they lament the broadcaster that is Dan "Bang-Bang" Fouts (5:10). An unexpected guest drops in on the show just to sit in the corner and read her book (10:44). They break-down Jon Gruden the broadcaster and coach the only way they can (32:45). Then they do their best Mike Francesca and make terrible picks to finish off the show (42:50). Murder was the Case...

After a little technical difficulty, the boys figure out how to start their show. Good job guys, it's only been a year and a half. So much to talk about for the rest of the show, but they rehash the NFL injury and rules problems (3:39). Guys, give it a rest will ya? They try to remember their pick for the Super Bowl, Saints-Steelers (21:11). Which means those two teams will loose this week. Now for their grand finale, they make their picks for the next round of NFL playoffs(42:12).

It's a Not For Nothin' Morning Show! How these two got out of bed to do a show at 9am is beyond inconceivable. It is a new year, but I'm guessing this is a resolution that won't stick. They start of talking about the QB who shall not be named, retiring and giving him a send off the best they can, which is not anything (4:01). They loose their way talking about Bart Scott, skiing & ninja suits before settling on GI Joe and how gay and kinky it was (11:37). As always they end the show with picks.

This is the lost, raw recording of the Christmas Day Miracle. I don't know how Chris pulled this off, but they recorded an international edition of Not For Nothin'. Good job Boys, you finally did something. Merry Christmas everyone!

The boys just get right into the rules madness in the NFL the past wee, (1:15) and they don't get off... er, um stop until they make the picks for week 16 games (32:23). Were you really expecting anything more?
