Not For Nothin'

Chris goes solo on this show, as the other Kris was most likely lost in the Canadian Wilderness. Chris talks about his sweet new ride, a 1980 'big bird yellow' Corvette (2:50). He also relays a crazy idea (or is it)from Kris claiming that Sam Bradford is a, way to early but legit, season MVP candidate (4:55). From there it starts getting weird as Chris goes on some kind of rant about no more convenience stores in NYC (9:54). Then he admits a horrible mistake, claiming the Niners are a good team, because they're not, but immediately moves past that by lusting over the "Golden Goose" Brock Osweiler (13:34). From there he attempts to throw in a conspiracy theory how the NFL may have helped the Patriots win the Super Bowl during the 9/11 season. Um, yeah (18:30)... This is where he really goes off the rails. Hopefully he gets to the picks soon (28:20). Chris wraps up this show by burying the needle.

We recap our trip to the Naismith Hall of Fame (1:00), including two-lap Thibs apperance (8:14). We decide who was the most interesting players from week 1, who all happen to be Chris's man-crushes: Brock Osweiler, Carson Wentz and RG3, then disagree if Ezekiel Elliott is any good (12:58). Chris has two hot takes involving Trevor Simien not being a starting QB after this season, and Tony Romo playing for the Brown next year (27:33). We jump into week 2 picks as Chris tries to sucker me into a stupid bet on a pick-six (35:56), keep disagreeing on Kelvin Benjamin (42:42). If you couldn't tell, we fight... a lot.

After rambling about Seger and The Eagles, we immediate regret our decision to bet on our Super Bowl favorites, the Vikings (4:55). After scrolling through a few bad options, we come across a juicy long shot, the Raiders, which excites Chris so much he sings the Raiders Silver and Black Attack song (10:00). We battle over if Miami will be relevant this year, which leads to us bet on how many games Matt Moore will start (14:28). Then we discuss the perfect ending to Mark Sanchez career, being a backup in Dallas to a rookie (16:18). We compare the Bachelor to the Vikings choosing Sam Bradford and give him their rose (20:35). We drool over our road trip to see Allen Iverson inducted into the HoF & wether he wears a suit for the ceremony (31:10). Then we get into week 1 picks, with Steve Dima stopping by to bet on the NFL's version of a horse race(33:46) . Check it out before it's banned!

We preview ourselves and the NFL season. Chris disses the Olympics right off the bat. We reminisce on our youthful stupidity, being Cowboy fans (11:00). I make a bold prediction about J.J. Watt's back and the Texans season (16:40), then we go after Chip Kelly and his merry band of QB's (20:00). Then we smoothly segue into which teams are sleepers and who we're hating on, which leads to Chris's first conspiracy theory of the year (24:14). Finally we settle into our pre-season pontifications, throwing in some odds and future bets (30:00).
