Today's passage challenges us to consider the extent of Jesus' authority. How far does it truly reach? In the Gospel of Matthew, we have witnessed Jesus demonstrating His authority in various ways: through His teaching, healing sickness and disease, calming the wind and sea, and casting out demons. But the question remains: does Jesus also possess the authority to forgive sins?

You need to know who Jesus is and you need to respond to who Jesus is.

Are you a fan or a follower of Jesus?

Anyone can be welcomed into the Kingdom of God.

Psalm 12 teaches us what to do when, as Christians, we feel alone *in* and encompassed *by* the world.

When tempted to flee, run away, or escape, as Christians we’re to remember where God is, remember what He sees, and remember what He will do.

What to do when it feels like God is far away.

Praise Jesus, the righteous judge of all and a stronghold for those who trust in Him.

Praising God for His majestic Name, for how He stills His enemies through weakness, and for how He rules the world through man.

How to pray when falsely accused.

Christian, the Lord is for you. He is not against you.

Wickedness abounds, including in me, and yet joy is available through taking refuge in Jesus.

God brings peace to those dealing with the distress of deconstruction.

Reading and applying Psalm 3 from text to David to Jesus to us.

Seek refuge in Jesus, the sovereign Savior King.

A song of Jesus, that is all about Jesus, to be sung with Jesus, as we join the choir.

Build your life on the authoritative Word of Jesus; and come what may, you'll be okay.

Beware of false prophets; beware, false professors.

Choose the narrow path of faith in Jesus and devotion to Him, which leads to life.

Present your piggish brother to your Father in prayer.
