The gospel is a message of grace. Even among believers in the early church it created controversy because of their view of the law. Continuing the series on the Book of Acts, Pastor Doug Sauder explores chapter 15 to expound on the wonderful qualities of grace that reveal God's nature and His plan for us.

Saul was passionate about his mission, but until he met Jesus, he was on the wrong mission. As Pastor Doug Sauder continues our study through the Book of Acts in the series "The Fire Spreads," we learn that if you've lost your bearings, Jesus can redirect your misguided mission.

Continuing the series in Acts, guest speaker Alan Platt, pastor of Doxa Deo Church in South Africa, teaches from Acts chapter 8 about the persecution that drove the apostles out of Jerusalem. Eventually they realized that it was God's plan to bring Godly discomfort (through persecution) that would result in a Godly deployment, sending the apostles throughout Judea, Samaria, and beyond to spread the Good News and change the world.

As Pastor Doug Sauder continues this series in Acts, we see Stephen debunk the myths the religious leaders believed about their own faith and how it interacts with history and, most importantly, Israel's Messiah. We also learn that laws, locations, and landmarks are not capable of containing God.

Though God is enough to completely satisfy and complete us, we often look to additional things to fill our lives. Continuing through this series in the Book of Psalms, Pastor Reuben highlights the all-sufficient attributes of God described in Psalms 46 and 51, and challenges us to find our joy and contentment in God alone.

Continuing the "Fire From Above" series in Acts, Pastor Doug explores how the early Church dealt with issues of justice and unity. He points out how Jesus set the example for reaching out to the forgotten, the scorned, and the disadvantaged. The apostles followed His example by raising up leaders to care for the poor as they preached the gospel.

Continuing in our Psalms series, Pastor Dan Hickling takes us verse-by-verse through the contrasting themes in Psalms 36 describing the ways in which we overestimate our own goodness and underestimate God's goodness. The first part of the chapter describes the wickedness of man, while the second part paints a picture of God's merciful character.

As we continue our "Fire From Above" series in Acts, Pastor Fidel teaches us that life without God is merely existence, but life with Jesus is real life in abundance. We need to share this kind of life with others.

Continuing in our series "Fire From Above," Pastor Doug teaches from Acts 4 where we see the boldness of the apostles in the early stages of Christian persecution, the power of corporate prayer, and how the Holy Spirit teaches us, like He did with Peter, what we could never learn from a book.

The Psalms are best understood as journal entries to God. In this first message of the Psalms series, Pastor Doug Sauder encourages us not to edit our prayers, but to honestly pour out our hearts to Him like the ancient psalmists.
