This Week we have Factory Stock driver Bryan O’Shea in the studio as well as former Factory Stock driver Neil Rutt III as Nick Rendo and Sam Ballard Jr are out on assignment this week. They give their input on our local racing as well as the current happenings in Nascar and more. We also have an in-studio audience this week with some other familiar face from or local short track. The cup series had the week off, but there was plenty to talk about in the Xfinity series. IndyCar had a very eventful weekend at Gateway and Formula 1 made their presence known at Spa. This week, Legend car driver Robert French returns to the studio to talk about everything from NASCAR to his own experiences racing all over, from Daytona to Wall Stadium Speedway. Watkins Glen made for some great talking points with a surprisingly quick race, but there is plenty of talk in the garage area regarding driver placement. Formula 1 is on their summer break and has been relatively quiet aside from a few rumors of drivers either staying in the series or possibly racing elsewhere next year. Indycar had some testing at Mid-Ohio after their race.   Then we get into our upcoming local events and we recap events from Saturday night, where we saw an awful lot of action from all our regular divisions and still got to wrap up before 10 P.M. This week we welcome Champ Kart driver Will Davis to the studio as well as a live studio audience.  While the Nascar racing wasn't particularly exciting, there is plenty of silly season news involving contract changes, rule changes for cup drivers racing in other series, and a debate about playoff spots vs number of races left.  For the open wheel world, the story was much the same, as we discuss penalties and the future for F1,  Le Mans, Formula E and where manufacturers are heading.  This ties in to the new aero kit for IndyCar as well.  Then we dive into the local news with some great action at Wall Stadium Speedway and our guest gives us a heads up on his indoor plans.  Follow us in Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, iTunes, SoundCloud, Stitcher and more!!!

With Nascar in Kentucky and Indycar in Iowa we get plenty of country flavor this week. Wall Stadium Speedways own Martin Truex Jr. displayed pure dominance throughout the cup race despite some incredibly adverse conditions in the final laps. Silly season is in full effect and we are just now learning where several drivers will end up next season.   Indycar had a less than stellar event at Iowa Speedway, similar to last year. Helio Castroneves broke a 3 year winless streak in a strong performance as he may be facing losing his ride for a move to sports car racing. Formula 1 had plenty of drama as well which leads us to discuss the rules for the standing start. Formula E will be making its way to Brooklyn this weekend for its debut race in New York. We then dive into our local segment to discuss the recent events at Wall Stadium as well as the upcoming pack the track night.

After a month long hiatus due to the unfortunate disease of cancer affecting one of our show members, we have returned.  We have a lot to catch up on and a lot to look forward to. As we run through the recent show at Daytona involving the Nascar series, we look at the pros and cons of plate racing.  We then set our sights on Kentucky speedway.  Nick brings us up to speed on Formula one and his unwavering devotion to Ferrari, no matter what the circumstance may be, and all the action at Baku tis year which easily outranked last years snoozefest.  Eric and Josh get into a deep discussion on IndyCar at Texas regarding the pack racing and the excitement it brings for the fans and the drivers attitude on such racing. A little twist on this weeks show, as we do our local segment first.  We simply couldn't wait to interview Pete MacDonald, a top manager at New Egypt Speedway, as well as content creator for Racersguide.com.  He gives us some insight into the inner workings at NES and discussing some of their larger Tuesday night events then continues on to talk about his other projects.  We wrap up with a recap of Saturday nights action at Wall Stadium Speedway and some guardrail discussion. In open wheel, there was a lot going on for the NHRA 4-wide nationals as the drivers were just bouncing off the walls with excitement.  Formula 1 had an unexpected winner, although the race was a bit lackluster.  Indycar held true to form and elected to go ahead with a race that was as boring as everyone expected, despite knowing a way to improve the product.  Then we have a quick discussion on the most American sport ever, "Demolition Drag Racing". It's Bristol baby!!!   This week the guys recap all the action at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Some great racing action as well as a few great stories.  This is all topped off by Dale Jr's announcement that he will be retiring after this season.  We follow that with an in depth discussion on what makes a driver worthy of the Hall Of Fame. Nick takes over for segment 2 as we talk about the Indy lights series and the incredible action they provide.  Then we discuss more of Fernando Alonso running the Indy 500 this year, and look forward to an exciting F1 race in Sochi Russia.   Some Supercross racing took place over the weekend as well and the NHRA is heading to the 4-Wide Nationals.  In the local segment we preview the new opening night and Fan Fest at Wall Stadium Speedway.

This week for episode 54 the boys tackle all the Martinsville news from trucks to cup.  Wild action throughout the weekend plus a rained out qualifying session made for some very interesting racing.    Also they break down a crazy formula E Grand Prix in Mexico, with non stop action and some difficult strategy choices.  There are brand new Indy car concepts for the 2018 season and of course Nick gets us ready for the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix with his clearly unbiased opinions.    A quick NHRA recap with a tie in to the Nascar truclk series.     As always we end our show with the latest breaking news at are very own local tracks.

Short Track Season is upon us.  Local racing action is back.  We have results and stories from the weekend.  First we discuss a record making weekend for Nascar, Kyle Larson was the headline maker while other notables had some hard hits.  Formula One started its season in Australia and Nick as a completely unbiased review of the racing and some excitement for Ferraris win.  While Lewis Hamilton had "tire issues".    Monster Jam made headlines as the first ever front flip was completed in Las Vegas. Supercross had incredible racing action and the points standings are not what we had expected at the start of the season.  MotoGP was also in action and Eric Brennan has all the details on their race.   In the Local segment we discuss the career of racer Dave Steele who tragically passed away this past weekend from injuries sustained in a crash.  We then continue on to our Bridgeport results, with a preview for New Egypt Speedway. 

Episode 52 was not a let down! The boys talk about the cup race at Phoenix and that upset win no one saw coming! Also, more tension between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano. In open wheel Nick gets us ready for the opening Formula 1 event this weekend in Melbourne! And Sam dives deep into the 12 Hours of Sebring! With IndyCar holding their season opener in St. Petersburg, Nascar tries to hold on to ratings with a "fight" after a wild finish at Las Vegas.  We explore the effects of the fight, and talk about Nascar's decision on penalties.  How do the sponsors play into the drivers future actions?   Onto IndyCar, several incidents led to a dramatic race for the first race of the year.  For some, it was a very tough way to start the year. The last of the unveilings for Formula 1 paint schemes, and the last few practice sessions, lead some teams to claim others are holding out on their true potential.  Wall Stadium is just weeks away from opening, and several other local tracks have upcoming action as well.  Plus Sam has some exciting news.  Plus, what have we learned today?

Episode 50 has arrived!!!   With Nascar in full swing, the guys recap the past weekends action including some controversial penalties and the fans reaction to both the overall racing and the new race format.  The open wheel season is getting close, with IndyCar starting their season in St. Petersburg this weekend. Just like that the Daytona 500 has came and gone. The guys talk about the positives and negatives of the new rules and how the NASCAR season seems to be shaping up. Also, they break down the upset win we saw. On the open wheel side of things it has been a wild two weeks. We've seen the brand new Formula 1 cars all make there debut and 3 days have already been completed in the first winter test.
