What a wild week it has been.  The Daytona 500 is right around the corner, but we have tons of short track racing happening in New Smyrna as well as several other tracks south of our home in NJ.  First we recap the Nascar clash and several of the new Smyrna races before discussing safety in short track racing.  We then discuss some more Formula one car unveilings as well as the first exhibition of Roborace in Buenos Aires.  We are also testing our first livestream in preparation for our live show at the Chapter House in Howell on Feb 26th for the Dayton 500.     

Speedweeks is just around the corner.  Nascar has it's Clash race this Saturday night, while the mighty modifieds will be rumbling their way around New Smyrna.  There have been some format changes for the clash qualifying.  The conspiracy theories still rise up as pole qualifying is set for Sunday.  You don't want to miss a minute of our breakdown of the upcoming Daytona 500.  We all thought the new visor cam in IndyCar was amazing.  However passing seems to still be an issue, a least at phoenix.  Testing at Phoenix, resulted in 3 crashes over 2 nights.  In Formula 1 news, Top Gears' Jeremy Clarkson has a positive but adamant message for the new owners, Liberty Media.  Ferrari was testing, and Vettel crashed.......  Nick isn't thrilled.  Pirelli has issued a comment to avoid blame for bad racing in the 2017 season.  We will be broadcasting live from the Chapter House in Howell, in just over a week.  Be sure to come on out, or follow our livestream on YouTube.  In local news, our friend Paul Hartwig Jr. will b

The guys talk about the breaking story involving Danica Patricks's main sponsor dropping out and who may be taking their place.  Will Stewart Haas be forced to remove a car from their lineup?  Nascar has also announced the addition of a traveling safety team to tour with the series for more consistent medical care.  Nascar also announced a controversial rule regarding some damaged cars not being allowed back on the track after repairs.  In the open wheel world, there is more bad new for the proposed Halo system in Formula 1.  The drivers have apparently voted, but the FIA is still testing other options.  Josh and Eric duke it out after Indycar driver Aleshin seems to not feel a need for a Halo style system in Indycar either.  In the Local segment, we have some great news about Wall Stadium Speedway modified driver Eric Mauriello.  While he joins Jimmy Blewett who has good news of his own as he will be driving for Tommy Baldwin racing in Myrtle Beach.

Nascar has announced some big changes this week regarding the race and points format.  We break down the changes and the possible impact on both the sport and the fans.  In Formula One, Liberty Media has completed its takeover, and they have removed Bernie Ecclestone.  He will still be involved as an advisor, but not in any official capacity, we discuss the future of the sport.  In supercross, there were some great battles and some pretty horrific crashes.  We review both the good and the bad from Anaheim.  The Race of Champions also in Anaheim had a pretty significant moment involving a rollover.  The TQ Midget races are coming up in Atlantic City this weekend for the Gamblers Classic.  We have a few unexpected entries and we tell you where the best seats are.   All this and more in Episode 43!   Don't forget to like our Facebook page and subscribe to us on YouTube, iTunes, Stitcher, and SoundCloud!!!

Tons of news and stories have been breaking all week long, most notably, Carl Edwards stepping away from Nascar with one year left on his contract.  Jon Wes Townley also announced his retirement this week.  We go over the potential impact of this and the possible reasons for the sudden change.  Special guest, Wall Stadium Speedway Legend series driver, Chris Gall joins us in the studio for his take on the recent events as well.  We then preview the upcoming Chili Bowl and Atlantic City indoor race where Chris is set to complete in the Slingshot division.  All that, and more local racing news right here on the RPM Podcast.

It's the RPM Podcast Xmas Special.  We have some changes to talk about in Nascar, as well as a few breaking stories in Formula 1.  We preview the indoor race in Allentown for New Years Eve and talk about some local drivers that are set to qualify for the show.   We each give our three predictions for the 2017 racing season.

Special guest and 24 hours of Lemons racer Aaron Leinemann joins us in the studio to go over some new rule changes in supercross as well as some more Nascar news.  We review the indoor Battle of Trenton from last week and go over the recently released top 10 wishlist of drivers for the Mystic Missile modified. 

With a ton of news stories breaking, we had a lot to cover in all the national motorsports including a new series sponsor for Nascar, a manufacturer returning and a team leaving.  Then we had several drivers retiring from Formula 1.  We get to talk about the top 10 douchiest drivers of the year.  Then we preview the upcoming indoor race in Trenton. 

In this PG-13 rated episode, we wrap up the Formula 1 season as well as discuss some changes  to the cars for next year.   Some driver changes are happening in NASCAR, Eric still loves hot dogs and we can finally recap TURKEY DERBY 43!!!!!   What a great week it has been. 

With Nascar wrapping up the year for their top three divisions, we go over the champions and how they got there.   We have a brief discussion on Formula 1 as they head into their championship weekend.  Then we go into great detail on the 43rd annual Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium Speedway!  It is shaping up to be another great weekend of racing.

With the racing season winding down, we visit some local news, and pep for Wall Stadiums Turkey Derby.  We then check in on Nascar's Sprint Cup Chase, as well as the Xfinity and Truck series points standings.  Then we go into the wild open wheel weekend with Formula 1 and Formula E.  With rain battering the track in Brasil, the F1 drivers were put to the task.  We break it down for you in this weeks episode!

We have a special guest in the studio today.  Wall Stadium Speedway Modified champion Steven Reed.  We go in depth about short track racing especially modified racing.   Lots of stories come about as well.  We touch on the Nascar Chase fpormat and a few other incidents as well. 

With the Nascar chase in full swing, we talk about the upcoming Talladega race as well as the past two weeks and the current chase standings.  Nascar my limit Sprint cup drivers' involvement in lower series.  We express our thoughts on the tracks involved in the chase.   Formula one in Japan, some great action and a great points battle.  Formula E opened their season in Hong Kong and the did not disappoint. Lots of action and some incredible racing that you need to see to believe.  Then we jump to our local racing with the final points race at Wall Stadium Speedway and some surrounding tracks, plus a crazy situation in Florida.

After a short Hiatus, Eric Brennan returns to host episode 31.  There is a lot to discuss in the Nascar world after Wall Stadiums own Martin Truex Jr. wins at Dover International Speedway. We recap the truck race in Las Vegas and the Xfinity race also taking place in Dover Delaware.  We then move into open wheel discussions with Formula one and a great display of racing and some crashing in Malaysia.  Formula E is set to open their season this weekend in Hong Kong, and we are all looking forward to that race.  Indycar silly season is in full swing as some drivers have announced their new team contracts for 2017 and others are still waiting for an offer.  We have an in depth discussion on death and injuries in he sport as well.   In the third segment we cover our local rainouts and preview the final points night of the season at Wall Stadium Speedway.  Champions will be crowned ad we have some tight points battles to get through.  We also touch on some short track acrobatics.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook,

With all three of the top series in Nascar running this weekend, plus the ARACA series, we have plenty to talk about. We are joined in studio by our friend Nick Rendo a former drag racer for his input on all forms of racing.  We get to preview the Formula 1 race in Malaysia as well as some news in Formula E with a ne car design and some new battery research.   Then we wrap it all up wit our local segment including recaps of the races at Wall Stadium as well as the rundown from our local dirt tracks. 

After a week off, the RPM Podcast returns to cover two weeks of racing news.  For Nascar it was both Richmond and Chicago.  Indycar at Sonoma, F1 in Singapore, and lots of great local racing action in New Jersey.  We dive into tech issues in Nascar with their new laser grid system and we look at championship points standings in all divisions with Indycar crowning their champion this past weekend.
