We conclude our 100 Essential Bible Passages study with a look at the last words in the Bible. Jesus says to us "Come!"

How we love one another is the test of how we love God.

The Apostle Paul wasn't afraid to die. Because of that he wasn't afraid to live.

This week we considered passages from Paul's letters to churches. Most notably we looked at Colossians 1 and what we learn about our Lord Jesus Christ's preeminence.

Saul of Tarsus, violent persecutor of Christ's church, becomes His greatest apologist. Jesus turned an enemy into a friend, and Paul spent the rest of his life working to turn enemies into friends.

The earliest church was an amazing organization! They had few of the advantages that we have today, but they had one thing we don't: power.

Mary Magdalene wept at the empty tomb, thinking that Jesus' body had been stolen. When she found out that Jesus was alive, her tears turned to joy. When we realize that Jesus is alive, everything changes!

The Psalms shaped Israel's worship and the Proverbs offered wisdom and guidance for living.

The great nation that Abraham trusted God to give him came to reality. But they rejected the God who brought them out of slavery in Egypt and lost their home.

David, just a boy, did what the men of Israel, including King Saul, were too scared to do. He took on the Philistine giant Goliath and defeated him.

The Judges of Israel were more like sheriffs than judges. They came into town, chased off the bad guys and restored law and order.

God told Joshua to be strong and courageous as he led Israel into the Promised Land

Moses meets the Living God in a burning bush. God tells Moses that His name is I am who I am, or just I am for short. He has heard His peoples' cries for help and is sending Moses to lead them into the Promised Land.

Joseph reassures his brothers that he will not take revenge. It was really God, not them, who sent him to Egypt. God made good come out of the brothers' evil act.

God's plan to fix what Adam and Eve broke begins with one man, Abraham. This man became God's friend.
