Sunday Night Geek

This week we have a guest in Studio as we chat with Sean Michelin about his forays into the podcasting world with his retro gaming and general interest podcasts! We also talk about the general nedrery and other newsworthy things that have happened this week!

This week 3/4 of us are recovering from various illnesses so we get chatty about our ailments, we talk about the new Fantastic Four film (even though only one of us saw it) and if its worth checking out. We also get chatty about some cosplay stuff, Batman Vs. Superman's standing ovation, the new Deadpool trailer and how much win is packed in and we cap off the show with a little political discussion!

This week we discuss the newest Mighty Marvel Movie Machine offering, ANT-MAN! SPOILERS ABOUND! We also shoot the poop about Pluto and all of the coolness that happened there. Lucas falls off his chair and we discuss things happening around Corner Brook... like construction and stuff!

Its our San Diego Comic Con highlight / wrap up show! We take all the news coming out of SDCC, digest it and shit it back out for you to enjoy!

With no real agenda this week, we get chatty about the release of Arkham Knight, the bad port job that game had to PC and we get serious for a bit and talk about the SCOTUS ruling in the US legalizing same-sex marriage and bringing us one step closer to equality!

Lucas and Angela break down the season finale of Game of Thrones (BIG FRIGGIN' SPOILERS), we chat about what we'd do if a Zombie outbreak were to happen RIGHT NOW and cap off talking about why you should bring your Nintendo DS to Atlanti-Con! Also, come to ATLANTI-CON!

This week we talk about the new Jurassic World movie starring the dreamy Chris Pratt, Game of Thrones gets the run down as the season finale approaches and we take a look at recent celebrity deaths and maladies that are taking some of the greatest genre actors of our time!

This week we start the show talking about the Big Durty Nerd's desire to stop collecting paper comics! OH THE HUMANITY! Then we jump right on the never-ending story that is cosplay controversy at conventions which leads to a discussion of double standards when it comes to body type and dress codes for males and females. We also talk about Chris Evans broad shoulders and the problems of becoming an adultier adult in the geek world. We wrap the show up by discussing some details of Atlant-Con 4!

We talk about a couple of different things this week including the Luna Lanie Momocon controversy! Technical note, about halfway through the recording the laptop stopped recording so there is a sudden jump ahead and about 35 minutes of content missing.

Angela gives us the run down on Anime North 2015, and we chat about the season finale of The Flash, the leaked pilot for CBS's Supergirl, photos from the set of The Suicide Squad and more!
