Sunday Night Geek

This week we get wordy with two of the minds behind Star Trek Shadows of Tyranny, an audiodrama set in the Mirror Universe. We talk a little about the various Star Trek series and our differing opinions on them (and boy do we differ). We also chat about Cosplay Picnic on the Majestic Lawn and all of the things about getting ready for Atlanti-Con 3 in just 23 days!

Hello Geek-keteers! Yes that is a real word and I am not afraid to use it! We are a little bit late with the podcast this week because of tasks related to Atlanti-Con (which is JUST 35 DAYS AWAY!) but here it is now to slam into your ear-holes at full force! We are back to being to talking about a whole range of things, whipping out our Geek and flapping it all over the place, but we do take a moment to say goodbye to Genie... Mork... Popeye... Mrs. Doubtfire, ladies and gents Robin Williams!

Now that we have all seen GOTG, we get jiggy with Star Lord and his galactic compatriots as we review one of the biggest and best movies of 2014! It gets spoilery, so fair thee warned by thee says I! We also touch on TMNT (we're taking a pass on this one), Sailor Moon, Cosplay and a few other odds and sods!

NSFW! Strong language and bewbs chat abound! Spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy as we review the film and its ups and downs (there weren't many downs), chat about its comic book origins, comics in general and then attempt to do a sketch together!

Katherine gives a run down on some new games while claiming she is not hardcore and Jeff & Angela get wordy about Game of Thrones now that Big Durty is all caught up on the season!

We get wordy about Cosplay in the Park, Movies, Games (including Big Durty's hate-on for Star Trek 2009 game) and relive our favorite 80's movies!

Tonight we discuss several things including the TRUTH behind "that" scene in Maleficent, the gals talk about How to Train Your Dragon 2 and a whole bunch of cosplay and anime things. Big Durty stays pretty quiet this episode... finally!

We get chatty about all of the things including some new vidya games Katherine is playing, Angela tells us about Game of Thrones and how Agents of SHIELD redeemed itself and how Maleficient made Big Durty cry like a baby!

We get chatty about X-Men Days of Future Past! That's pretty much it. A whole show dedicated to the X-Men. Oh and Hugh Jackman's ass, because... reasons.
