Sunday Night Geek

This week we start with discussing the inevitable incoming deluge of R-Rated superhero movies, how generic the Deadpool movie actually was, Stan Lee's last convention appearances and then we dive head first into the butt-hole of TV show reviews with The Flash, Arrow, Legends and (finally) the return of The Walking Dead!

The title says it all! We get sploogey about the amazing Deadpool movie for a solid 30 minutes (much longer then I normally last), then we talk about The Flash visiting Earth 2 and how that will work into The Flash / Supergirl Crossover and then we get chatty about the return of The Walking Dead and our predictions of what will happen to our intrepid group of survivors!

This week we get together on a cold, snowy, blowy Sunday to talk about all of the things that no one cares about. We discuss superhero family matters, epic TV crossovers, dog farts and spoiled super pets!

This week we get freaky with the X-Files, discuss some Shanara Chronicles, travel through time with Doctor... I mean Legends of Tomorrow, lament Supergirl and get chatty about The newest episodes of Flash and Arrow. Oh and Deadpool, can't forget about the Merc with a Mouth. Also we get down to business discussing gender identity in genre and in general! It's a packed episode this week!

On this week's episode we discuss the passing of David Bowie and Alan Rickman and the impact they had on geek culture. We also get chatty about the upcoming Deadpool movie and the petition that has popped up for a PG-13 version of the film.

This week we talk about the differences between a Geek, a Nerd and a Dork; We look forward to whats upcoming for the year 2016 and the big screen; Big Durty Nerd gets schooled on the different roasts of coffee; Sean cooks his sausage in some Smuckers jam.

It's a new year but we can't stop talking about Star Wars The Force Awakens!

STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS REVIEW SHOW! Fair thee warned be thee, says I... this is a SPOILER FILLED, SPOILERIFIC, SPOILERY, SUPER-SPOILER review episode of the new Star Wars movie. Seriously, we spoil shit right away (thanks to Lucas) so if you haven't seen the movie yet DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PODCAST!

This week we get our nerd on talking about the forthcoming release of Star Wars The Force Awakens, the new X-Men Apocalypse trailer which dropped mid-week and then we get into our weekly reviews of all things DC on TV!

This week we get chatty about the two big movie trailers that dropped this past week, give our thought on the Flash / Arrow crossover, express our disappointment over what was a slew of missed opportunities in Supergirl and round out the night by talking about how stupid kids are on The Walking Dead.

This week we get chatty about the new Star Wars movie before we delve into the Reviews of the Week! We also get a little wordy about Doctor Who but no one is really up to date on the new season, so its a short conversation! We also discuss why Wynn and Supergirl can never be together.

With just three of the four geeks this week we discuss the attacks felt around the world, how the philosophy of Star Trek could help us out globally and then we get into our weekly reviews of all things geeky and nerdy.

Lucas and Jeff wax about a bunch of nerdy things (as usual) and Lucas regales us with a tale or workplace pen hazards!;

This week we perform oral on the Federal Election results and then get chatty about the usual things on TV. We also bust a nut over the full length Star Wars trailer, though not everyone was impressed.

This week we say farewell to one of our hosts, we get election boners and talk about the Fantastic Four rumours that made their way around the internets. Oh and then we delve into a whole mess load of TV backtalk!

Lucas and Big Durty get down to talking about The Flash and Arrow season openers, jaw about Gotham and the surprise ending of episode 3, and Lucas talks about American Horror Story while BD tries not to vamit.
