This sermon explores the story of Moses and the Burning Bush. Moses was willing to stop what he was doing, pay attention, and it led to a conversation with God that changed his life and the life of Israel forever. Let’s follow Moses’ lead and be more attentive to the burning bushes and ordinary miracles God puts in our path this week.

All too often we are quick to be first with our words. James, Jesus’ half brother, tells us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. This week Pastor John talks about the need for us to hear others is just important as for us to be heard by other.

Those who are different from ourselves seem odd at times. But when we strip away all the outward appearance, the beauty that is inside us all is revealed. This week we see how the Apostle Paul’s goal to win over others is how we should strive to be toward one another.

This week Pastor John explains how an eternal perspective can help guide our hearts and minds in this “season” of eternity. Soon, season 2 will be here, and the here and now will have passed away.

Peter explains that “A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.” This week we explore how to deal with the many end of the world stories that we see every day in this age.

Church has become "convenient" with the availability of online and post service video of sermons. Biblical community is still very important for the good of us all. This week, Pastor John talks about how the body of Christ is still important for the good of everyone. Even if we need to push beyond our own comfort sometimes.

Every decade or so there are events that cause us to revisit the topic of the end of the world. We all agree to some extent that it wouldn’t be shocking if the world ended.
