You might not share the same sentiments with this guy - it's just another side of the story. So, I visited Cape Town when I met this open-minded and free-spirited gentleman. Initially, he was just meant to be my Uber driver and get me to the airport - but I got to see and learn beyond my expectations. He went from studying medicine in Malawi to being a comfortable Uber driver in Cape Town - South Africa. We spoke about the state of Johannesburg City versus Cape Town City. For me, it's not about finding faults in people's stories, but learning how other people view the world and interpret the things that surround them. I woke up this morning to crushing news updates. The Coronavirus cases recorded in South Africa rose to 709 by 25th March 2020. This shows the urgency at which this matter needs to be taken serious by citizens. Being uncertain about tomorrow is scary for everyone. We are not alone.
