I Can Explain. I Can't Explain.

Any good podcast challenge will have ups and downs, and this week we face a film that almost destroyed us. After so many episodes of fun and games, we arrive at the 2013 cinematic mess known as This Is The End. How did Isaac survive? Will we ever get over it? Was there anything redeeming about this film that we can possibly explain? Listen and find out.

Which is why we take extra long this time to dissect or rather — explain - why we enjoy or don’t enjoy aspects of this motion picture.

Comedies have come a long way since 2005, yet somehow we still have Wedding Crashers to look back at. Can we explain? Or can’t we? It will make you want to shout.

Any grown up out there can tell you, the Real Estate game is techerous. Especially when your now house gets rezoned as being on a college campus and your friends force you to start an almost fully inclusive fraternity. But does this concept, more than 15 years later, still hold up? Can we explain the film that is and was Old School? Isaac and Mark will try, and by the end, we all might just be going streaking through the quad.

Bob Dylan once wrote “The times they are a changin”, but Isaac and Mark never heard that song... so they watched Anchorman instead. Join us as we build things out of metal and braun, take Dorothy Mantooth out for a nice steak dinner, and above all… soak in the great views of San Diego; they always go down smooth.
