He has helped the company become the #2 Harman Pellet Stove Dealer in the country, 7 years in a row. The company was founded by Jay's father, Jean Peloquin, in 1980. Jean was a sales rep for a national company in the hearth industry that lead to him becoming an importer and manufacturer in the early to mid 80s. In the mid 80s Jean and his family opened a retail store in Springfield, MA. Fireside Designs has grown exponentially over the years from a small 500 sq ft showroom in Springfield, MA to a 2000 sq ft location at 1458 Riverdale st, and now to their current 5000 sq ft state of the art showroom at 1769 Riverdale St. West Springfield Ma.

They saw an opportunity in the solar market and thought they could lend their own unique perspective to it. Both Ian and Nate have an entrepreneur background. Within a year she became the assistant manager with a CPO Certification. In 2001 Jacqui became manager of the Enfield CT store and during this time she was #1 in her district of 15 stores. In 2003 Jacqui ventured out with a fellow manager to start Pool Guys Pool Service and in 2008 became sole proprietor of the company. Since then Jacqui has performed over 1 million water tests and has helped hundreds of pool customers and pools in need.

Rick is a certified radon mitigator, he was trained at the National Radon Proficiency Program sponsored by Rutgers University. Rick is listed with the Mass. Board of Health and the Radiation Control Program. Rick founded the company in 2003 as an off shoot of a property inspection business. He was doing testing but found that there were no certified mitigators in western Mass. So he went through training, courses and testing, became certified and started installing radon systems. Rick sold the company to John Dicken in 2017 and John has continued to provide the expertise and great customer service that Rick always tried to provide.
