Gobscure shares their understanding of oppression, their creative ways of rebelling against authority and even performs 'Rose Carved in Rain'. In Episode 5 of Audio Queer, in collaboration with Curious Arts, I had the pleasure of talking to members G and Andy. We discuss G's experience returning to Lake District as an adult, only to find many of the same problems still embedded in the culture. We talk about Andy's brilliant way of framing Bordello's show 'The Pilgrims' to fit into the chaos that is Edinburgh Fringe. And we also talk about hope, about allowing people into Queer space but also knowing that we can fight to hold it. It's a powerful and often funny journey into the minds of two brilliant humans.
