My Father's House

The “Roots and Fruits” series is about successful disciples making more successful disciples. Today’s focus is on Roots in Jesus.

It is imperative that we understand the Lord’s end goal for us in our walk with Him, is to be “fruit-full”, being disciples and making more disciples. This is the mark of a true follower, and the way we bring great glory to the Father.

Jesus was sent to seek and save the lost by the Father. Are we willing to accept the calling and seek out the lost sheep?

We can dream of having a powerful prophetic anointing like Elijah, Moses, Ezekiel, and David, but the question is whether we will have the servant’s heart to carry this anointing.

God has placed a part of His nature into the hearts of mothers. Throughout the Bible, mothers were used to accomplish the Lord’s purposes when they yielded to God’s plan. Today the Holy Spirit breathes hope & encouragement in the hearts of mothers, for the surrendering of their children to God.

Knowing who we are in Christ and whose we are, are of the utmost importance in our walk with Jesus. Without a solid identity in Christ the solid rock, we falter, are easily blown off course, and fall prey to the schemes of the devil.

The Lord took the prophet Ezekiel in the Spirit to a valley of dry bones and told him to prophesy to the bones to live! Just like Ezekiel, we as Christians have the same power and authority to speak life over our dead and hopeless situation. Understanding that we carry the same power that rose Jesus from the dead inside of us, is the catalyst to exercise that power and authority so we can live and walk a victorious life in Jesus.

“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.” 1 Peter 4:7 ESV That’s a good thing to remember especially when things are not going well.

As the present age becomes more and more dangerous, the call to be strong and courageous must resonate in the lives of believers. When others are fearful and dismayed, we must stand up with audacious authority in faith.

The USA is facing a spiritual and moral crisis, chaos all around is threatening to rip apart the conservative Christian values on which our nation was founded. As we pray, stand firm, honor, engage & vote, together we can affect major changes in our nation, for the glory of God.
