Throwback Thursday With Dr. Fred Silva

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of the great Dr. Robert H. Heptinstall, or as many called him, “Heppy.” Dr. Heptinstall is considered a father of renal pathology, a mentor, a model, and a true icon in our field. His work has and will continue to guide generations of renal pathologists. Below is a clip of Dr. Silva discussing the important work of his dear friend Heppy in a past episode of Throwback Thursday.

For his last episode, Dr. Silva makes a summary of the essence of his series and reminds us of the importance of going deep in all we do. We would like to thank Dr. Silva for all of the work and dedication he has put into Throwback Thursday as well as the contributions he has made in the renal pathology field.
