The book is titled For Those I Knew and Loved Before.  RJ wrote the book in honor of his grandmother, who lost her battle to Alzheimer’s back in 2021, as well as caregivers and families who are either taking care of a loved one with these neurodegenerative diseases or who have lost someone to dementia. RJ’s story depicts a unique perspective of a young child who grapples with her grandmother’s diminishing condition and rapid memory loss.
